7:35pm – 11:40pm The Big Brother 28 live feeds were blocked for the head of household competition. When the feeds return, we learn that Yash is the NEW HOH!

11:40 PM — Melody and Drew (Kitchen)
Melody is in the kitchen doing the thing people do when they are pretending not to mind.
Melody, flat: “I didn’t want, like, a letter. No, that would be annoying. Why would I want that anyway?”
Drew asks her to go back to what she was actually saying, and she gives him the arithmetic instead: however the board gets built, three of them are still going up.
Then Taylor comes through
Taylor: “You getting a shower next, Drew?”
Drew: “Huh?”
Taylor: “You getting a shower next, right?”
Drew: “Nah, it’s fine.”
Taylor: “No, it’s not. Get in the shower next.”
And then, once she has gone, Drew names the only asset he has left — the Never Not Pass, which keeps him off slop and does nothing else whatsoever.
“It’s my one thing I got going for me in this game.”
— Drew, on the Never Not Pass
His other hope is less of a plan and more of a wish, and he says it out loud to the one person he has told everything to this week.
Drew: “Yeah, the good thing is, like… hopefully Barrett doesn’t win and he goes.”
Melody does not engage with any of it. She has one line left in her and it is not about the game.
“I just wanna, like, crawl into a ball and just, like, cry the rest of the night.”
— Melody
Where it stands: Four minutes of kitchen talk, and the two people who spent the whole week telling each other they were each other’s number one have very little to say. Melody is sarcastic about a letter she clearly wanted and then admits she would rather go to bed and cry. Drew, who spent Wednesday coaching a nominee’s campaign and saying he wanted to wreck Barrett’s Head of Household, is down to hoping somebody else does it for him — and to a power that keeps him off slop. Taylor, meanwhile, wandered through, bullied him into the shower queue and left, which is the most decisive thing anybody did in the room.

11:45 PM — Taylor and Yash (Storage room)
Taylor has Yash in the storage room, writing his Head of Household for him.
Taylor: “Let’s f—ing go.”
Taylor: “Bro, I’m a lady. How many times I gotta tell you that? Damn.”
First instruction: say nothing to Melody or Barrett until the two of them have their story straight. Then the defense for leaving Devens off the block.
Taylor: “But this is what you can say about why you’re not putting Devens up. You’re not putting Devens up because you guys made a verbal agreement and you shook on it.”
Yash: “Yeah.”
Taylor: “We’ll figure it out. Obviously Barrett and Melody, just let them know y’all are not the target.”
Her order of operations: Drew first, the ceasefire second, telling Barrett and Melody what happened after that. Then she finishes the script in his voice.
“Because it makes sense. I shook on it. I’m a man of my word.”
— Taylor, writing Yash’s line for him
Taylor: “So that way we have two final fours.”
Where it stands: Devens is protected by a handshake, Barrett and Melody get told they are fine, and the name at the front is Drew — who was in the kitchen five minutes earlier hoping Barrett would be the one to go. The two people who have decided it are both in a ceasefire with him.

You said, “Taylor, meanwhile, wandered through, bullied him into the shower queue and left, which is the most decisive thing anybody did in the room.’
That’s reaching-bullied???
Let’s not talk about bullies ok. We had one big Karen egg bully that just left the house.
Goodnight
How is Angela a bully? She may be neurotic and paranoid, but she is not a bully.
Your opinion is duly noted. Had you watched her season26 behavior, especially to Matt, perhaps it would not be so forceful in her defense.
I don’t see how grown adults can be bullied. You people need to grow a spine.
There have been no true bullies in the house at all. You too are overusing the word.
If, by “true bullies”, you mean one who is a constant bully to all they meet, then no, there have been none of those.
BUT, if you drop the qualifier: “true” from your blanket statement, then I disagree.
There has been a LOT of bullying by a lot of different people this season. Some are gone. Some remain. Dee & Devens, I’m lookin’ at you.
Copypasteing here as well
I told you the script was similar to last season and immediately said Angela is leaving this week
Okay so in the last few weeks we now have:
Haley (spoiled brat Rachel)
LaLa (old person Will)
Angela (blockbuster win Kelley)
Get ready for Taylor (who is she again? Lauren) and Yash (comp beast Keanu) to go next in the double
BYE TAYLOR
If you keep referencing last season’s cast, you’ll have Dee & Devens in the final 2 chairs, since last year’s cast had no survivor alums.
Drew and Melody will most likely be noms, then if Barrett wins veto and uses it Taylor is gone lol
What is Taylor wins the veto and uses it?
I don’t know why Taylor is celebrating, if any of those 3 win veto she is on the block, although safe unless they pull the same stunt next week.
Not sure it was smart for yash.
He isnt a target. Unless like drew almost had it.
And Please let drew leave .
Just not barret.
I hope there isnt a block buster, cause tylor is not using the veto regardless.
The name of the seasons is.. lets.not stick to any alliance we do.. lol
Well.
This is completely expected.
No really. We’ve been seeing augers of this on feeds for about 3 days.
I was 70/30 if it would be Yash or Dee.
However… Dee winning it would leave her vulnerable in a double.
Therefore it was Yash.
So the bribe is done. Well now we will see just how long it takes the stunts to say okay this thing with Yash gotta go bye byes, get bored, and backstab him. What. The stuntcasts led by Dee have not maintained an alliance for longer than four days since Haley’s HOH.
I’m of course completely not going to dissect and analyze the fact that Yash went into d/r with one opinion, and walked out not only with the 180, but also saying he could beat Dee in final 2. I’m not doing it because what’s done is done. Now. I’m going to try to put away my statements of the obvious manipulation we’ve witnessed on feeds for days. What is done is done. We’ll see how long I’m able to maintain that statement.
Worst case: Let us for the most absurd argument of the impossible say that Yash nominates Drew / Melody / Barrett. okay that’s not absurd. Here is the absurd part:
What if Taylor were to miraculously win Veto and chose to USE it.
By the Bribe… Yash cannot renom ANYONE. Grod will not allow Devens or Dee… so… does he have to take the third seat himself????? Or just NO replacement nom.
See how fukakta the quagmire of the bribe is now?
What THIS tells you, gentle reader, is that it is 90% that Taylor will be sitting out veto. Or one of Grod’s sniper dr monkeys will wing her in the leg to make sure she comes nowhere near winning veto. lmao.
Of note. EVERY damn time Drew thinks he’s going to be nominated…. he cranks up the flirt on Melody as if to say, “look Grod, wanna keep the closest thing you have to a Harlequin Romance movie… throw us a comp.”
It is known that d/r ‘suggests’ ( i use the term loosely and sarcastically) through leading questions. Barrett and Drew know d/r has never once mentioned or even remembers the name of their final 2. They talked about it. And wouldn’t you know it… immediately Drew’s opinion of Barrett changed. Shades of Jag and the Unreliables.
Strange things in my mind: I’m still sideying the season beginning with a Broveal. I’m still sideying the gendered introduction in the premiere. I’m still looking at the volume of houseguests they cast that were so casual about ‘traditional gender roles.’ But then they cast a large number of people that were incredibly comfortable in casually flaunting most isms this season. It’s been an eye opener anthropologically speaking as an outsider.
The bribe was only until it was mathematically impossible to not nominate them. Therefore if Taylor wins Veto and uses it, he would be able to nominate either Dee or Devins
Unless this week there are only two on the block not three. If three and Taylor takes one down then who ever loses the block buster would go to jury. My hunch from now in it will be two nominees not three.
At no point in the wording of the bribe does it say ‘if mathematically possible.’
The wording of the bribe was on your next hoh you have to keep us safe, you cannot nominate or renom any of us.
Therefore, since Grod and d/r have said it is binding, if Taylor wins the veto they have to stop production or come out and directly say that they created a situation that is impossible to fulfill. SInce i feel very strongly that the wording of the bribe is not the way Dee talks, and Yash had just had a d/r and Dee went to d/r to get the coin… we can assume the fix was in and this was a plotline story device not a strategic move made by a houseguest.
The entire bribe situation was only allowed to be such a mess because it was meant to keep Dee in the game by production that is invested (see d/r count) in keeping Dee in the game.
Dee specifically said mathematically possible when making the deal. So let’s hope Taylor can win and use it. At least the bribe is gone either way.
Also Dee: At final 3 he has to take one of us to final 2 because of the bribe.
Nowhere in there does it say he cannot vote to evict a stuntcast.
Good thoughts to ponder. Now if production would hold EVERYONE to the same standards/rules…
Firstly, the bribe was supposed be for “one game action”, so fine for nominations, even fine for applying to multiple people, but as far as also covering renom, that’s a BS expansion of its scope that I doubt a non-Icon would have been allowed to employ.
That being said, now that Yash has won HoH, I realize I’m feeling relieved that the Bribe is getting used now and won’t be in the game after this week. In fact, now that Dee won’t have a reason to protect Yash insofar as Bribe has now been spent, I’ll bet Yash wishes he had voted her out last night. It was probably the correct move at the time since he didn’t know whether he’d win HoH, but now that he has…..he’s probably a bit regretful of what might have been….
He is going to regret it next week during the double when Dee wins and he goes home.
ok yash don’t lose site. the next time you are eligible for hoh and win. target dee or you are a massive idiot. stop being obsessed with drew.
