A Big Brother 28 houseguest starting a Week 6 morning in the house

The morning before a busy day of gaming.

Devens used the Diamond Power of Veto on Dee yesterday and put Kamu up in her place. Monday was the house working out what that means — and by lunchtime, the second power in the game was no longer a secret. Kamu told Mallory. Yash told Mallory. Then Yash told Mallory and Melody the part nobody else has: Dee tried to buy him.

Where the week stands: Kamu, Haley and Angela are on the block going into Thursday’s Blockbuster. Kamu is there because Devens pulled Dee down and named him — a replacement the Head of Household had no say in.

Dee’s power, confirmed: It’s the BB Bribe — $5,000 she can offer anyone to do what she wants. Kamu told Mallory at 10:12 AM. Yash told her the same thing an hour later, independently. Dee told them both herself.

She tried to buy the Head of Household: Before noms, Dee asked Yash to keep her and Angela safe for the week for $5,000. He stalled, then said no. She dropped Angela and asked again for just herself. He said no again. Yash, telling it: “In my head, I’m like, f— no.”

Who she offered up instead: When Yash turned the money down, Dee suggested Mallory and Melody as the two who should go up in her place. Earlier the same day she had named Haley and Drew. Both women now know.

The name she never said: Barrett. Dee named Haley, Drew, Mallory and Melody across two conversations and left out the fourth member of the same friend group. That omission is what has Yash quietly watching Barrett.

Somebody is talking to Dee: She knew the details of the anti-Icons conversation held in the HOH room — not just that it happened, but who was in it. Seven people were there. Yash has ruled out Taylor, Mallory and Melody, refuses to tell Lala anything, and is left looking at Drew and Barrett.

Kamu’s theory: That Dee paid Devens the $5,000 to use the Diamond Power of Veto on her. He has no proof and says so. Yash didn’t know the bribe could even be used that way.

Where the split is: Mallory wants to use the Blockbuster to take Kamu out — “the only time in the entire game we can take the shot at him without any blood on our hands.” Yash wants to keep him: “He’s a sword and a shield.” By the end of the afternoon Yash has agreed to think about it, which is further than he had moved all week.

Kamu campaigning to Mallory in the Big Brother 28 HOH room

10:12 AM — Kamu and Mallory (HOH)

Kamu comes up to campaign.

Kamu: “We were talking a little bit last night and then Angela came over. And so anyways, all I wanted to say to you was — I’m not coming after you at all.”
Kamu: “Since you and I talked on the couch last week, which I was really happy about, I was like, cool. If she’s not coming after me, I’m not coming after her. I like Mallory. I’d love to work with you in some sort of capacity.”
Kamu: “Before I became HOH, I didn’t know how to feel about you on a game level. On a personal level, I’ve always liked you. But on a game level, I was like, I think she’s coming after me. Because that’s what I was told.”
Kamu: “And then afterwards, I was like, well, now that I put her up, if she wins HOH, she’s going to put me up. So she’s still coming after me.”

Mallory: “Yeah, that makes sense.”
Mallory: “I feel like after this stuff happened, with Lyric leaving and the vote flipping and stuff, I feel like we all had bigger fish to fry and there’s no reason for us to go after each other.”
Kamu: “That’s how I see it. And I wanted to reiterate that to you. And I’m not just saying this because I’m on the block. I know the timing is convenient. But when we had that conversation last week, before I knew how this week was going to shake up — obviously, I meant it then.”
Kamu: “Two, three days ago it was just Yash, Taylor and myself. And I was telling them, I was like, I really like Mallory. I’d love to work with her. I’d love to form an alliance with her. And they agreed.”

Kamu: “And Taylor was laughing. She goes, it’s funny, because she said, I think both of you think that you guys are going after each other.”
Kamu: “Since our talk last week, when you were like, hey, I think that us competitors need to stick together — I was like, perfect. I feel the same way.”
Kamu: “If I were to win that, I would not have come after you. In fact, my targets were actually Angela and Dee. Because of all the lying.”
Kamu: “And then Dee was lying to Haley afterwards too, about, like, oh yeah, I tried to flip the vote but Kamu didn’t want to flip the vote. Right after, she went and was telling Haley stuff, and then Haley told me about it.”

The feeds flip and come back with Kamu still on the flipped vote.

Kamu: “And then Dee was like, no, I want to evict, because Devens seemed to be cool with whatever. But then Dee was like, no, I don’t like the way that Haley was treated. We should save her.”
Kamu: “I told Dee, I was like, man, this is going to get messy, because all week long the house thought that whoever between them doesn’t win the Blockbuster is going to go home. And if they’re both sitting next to each other, that Haley goes. And now with like an hour left, we’re trying to flip it.”
Mallory: “I was going to say, that’s the second time.”
Mallory: “This is gonna be hard to do an hour before the show.”
Kamu: “And then she told me, she goes, I’m voting Haley — but she goes, don’t tell Yash and don’t tell Taylor.”
Kamu: “And in my head, I was thinking, like, I’m for sure going to tell Yash.”
Mallory: “Yeah, but also just, like, why?”

Kamu: “Well, because she was worried that it would get back to Lala, because Lala wanted Haley to go. Like, no matter what, Lala’s going to figure it out. But Dee just didn’t want people to know. It’s the same thing that happened the week before.”
Kamu: “And then Dee lied, Devens lied. Devens lied in a different way.”
Mallory: “There was a whole meeting before, and he knew, and he didn’t tell you.”
Kamu: “So he told me at first, he goes, I thought you knew. And I said, no, I said, I didn’t know. He’s like, dude, I’m sorry, I thought that somebody told you. He goes, there was a meeting. And I said, who was a part of this meeting? And he goes, I don’t want to throw people under the bus.”
Kamu: “But in my head I was thinking, bro, I thought we were working together. That’d be so weird if somebody you’re working with was like, oh, I can’t tell you because I don’t want to throw people under the bus. You’d be like, well, is your loyalty to them?”
Mallory: “Yeah, because clearly a secret was kept.”

Mallory listening as Kamu makes his case in the HOH room

Kamu: “So that was like, I had red flags with them after that. And then he lied to me like a day or two later. We were talking on the hot tub and he goes — I think this actually was after I won the veto, so this would have been Saturday afternoon.”
Kamu: “He goes, sorry about the whole vote thing. He’s like, I just thought that you were really close with Haley and Chuk, so when the vote was flipped we didn’t tell you, because we didn’t know if you’re gonna go back and tell them. So he admitted that he lied.”
Kamu: “So on the outside I was like, no, dude, it’s cool, like, I understand. On the inside I’m like, bro, you told me that you thought that I knew. So which is it — you either thought that I knew, or you intentionally didn’t tell me because you were worried that I was gonna go back and tell Haley and Chuk. So at this point, now my red flags are really going off.”
Mallory: “I’ve had red flags with Devens since the Rome thing. Not that I’ve ever even kind of worked with him, but in my head I was like, I would never work with that guy.”
Mallory: “On someone that clearly Rome trusted him.”

Kamu: “And then I heard that he was the one that basically started the flip. So that’s what I heard. Yeah, from Taylor. And please keep that on the low, just because I don’t want it to come back around to Taylor.”
Mallory: “Yeah, I won’t say anything.”
Kamu: “So Taylor was like, yeah, Devens was the one that started that. And I was like, of course. Of course.”
Kamu: “But I told him, I was like, dude, whatever the HOH wants or whatever the house decides, just let me know. I wasn’t fighting. I love Melody. We get along really well. So it’s not like I wanted to evict her, but I also had a good relationship with Lyric. So it wasn’t like I wanted to evict her either.”
Kamu: “So there was really no reason to ice me out of the vote. But in a way, I’m kind of happy that it happened, because it kind of showed me where people’s loyalties lie. And then, of course, now this happens.”

Kamu: “For me, playing this game, it’s like, I want to play with people who are loyal and people who have the ability to win power. Let’s say you and I are loyal to each other. You win power, I win power, we keep each other safe. We’re each other’s shields, we protect each other.”
Kamu: “And I know for a fact, because I was working with the Icons, I know for a fact that you are a huge target in their eyes. And so it’s like, if they win power, there’s a good chance you go up. For sure Yash. And I think Drew.”
Mallory: “Yeah, I can definitely see that from Devens. He seems like he goes after people that he sees are a threat. He literally said that about you, and that’s why he blew up Rome’s game. I feel like it’s only a matter of time until he comes after me.”
Kamu: “And so what Dee said was, if she won HOH — she told me this before noms — she’s like, I would put up Drew and Haley. She didn’t give me a third, but she goes, I’d put up Drew and Haley. And those were also two people that she was working with before. And so I’m like, dude, the only loyalty that they have is to each other.”
Mallory: “I agree.”
Kamu: “I do want to talk to Melody as well, but I really want to talk to you specifically, because you’re a really good competitor. I think that we need people who are gonna be able to work together and take the Icons out. We need people who can win comps.”

Kamu stops mid-sentence and looks toward the door.

Kamu: “Sorry, I thought I heard footsteps.”
Mallory: “Oh yeah, everybody’s gone.”
Kamu: “I think that sending me out, it only helps them, because now there’s a physical threat gone who’s not going to be able to win power and put them up. So I’m like, look, whoever wants to rock with me, I am down to rock with them — because now, clearly, Devens and Dee showed the whole house that they are each other’s number one.”
Mallory: “Yeah, by like a lot. Like, I would never use my power on somebody else. Especially something like that, where you can save yourself. That’s crazy.”
Kamu: “Okay, and I’m going to tell you something else, but this is a trust-building moment for the two of us. The only other person that I’ve talked to about this is Yash. Dude, please, like, please do not say anything.”
Mallory: “Oh, I won’t. I promise I won’t.”
Mallory: “I’m going to be honest, I’m sure the Icons probably think that you’re going after them after Devens said that whole thing.”

“This is what I was going to tell you, though. Dee has the other power.”

— Kamu

Kamu: “For sure, for sure. This is what I was going to tell you, though. Dee has the other power.”
Mallory: “How do you know?”
Kamu: “She told me. She told me last week, before Angela blew up. Dee and I were in the gym talking and she apologized to me for lying about the vote. So she admitted that she did it.”
Kamu: “She’s like, I flipped the vote and I’m sorry. She’s like, but if other people ask, I will take that to the Big Brother grave with me. She still hasn’t admitted it publicly. Everybody kind of knows. But she hasn’t said it out loud.”
Kamu: “In fact, what sparked the blow-up was Chuk asked Angela — because Angela admitted it — and he goes, well, Angela, you said that Dee was the other person that flipped with you. And Angela was like, I did not say that. Like, don’t put words in my mouth, blah, blah, blah.”

Kamu: “And Haley goes, Angela, come on, don’t do that. And she’s like, Haley, what the — oh yeah, you f—ing b—-. Haley, I never said anything. What did I say? What did I say?”
Kamu: “And so Haley goes, you told me that you flipped a vote. And I asked you — this is Haley speaking — she goes, we’re on the balcony this morning, and I asked you if Dee was the other person who flipped the vote. And you looked at me and you said, trust your gut.”
Kamu: “And as soon as Haley said that, Angela stood up and started cussing her out. But that’s why. She got pissed off because Chuk and Haley were like, yo, Dee’s the other person that flipped.”
Mallory: “I feel like it’s obvious. If Angela did it, that would be my first thought, that it was Dee too.”
Kamu: “And so Dee just never said anything. So Angela took all that heat and Dee just sat there quietly.”

Kamu: “But before everybody else showed up, Dee says to me — I’m sorry I lied, but I like you, I want to work with you. And she’s like, I have the power. And she was trying to rebuild trust with me, because we were working with each other since basically day one.”
Kamu: “And she goes, I have the power. I was like, no way.”
Mallory: “Do you know what it is?”
Kamu: “Yes, it’s the BB Bribe. So she has $5,000. And with that $5,000, she can try to get somebody to do whatever she wants them to do.”

Kamu: “So here’s what I’m thinking happened. I’m thinking that she bribed Devens.”
Mallory: “That makes so much sense.”
Kamu: “To using the power on her.”
Mallory: “Because I was so curious, because I kind of figured she probably has the power. But I was like, why didn’t she use it? Why did Devens use his power on her?”
Kamu: “So her power, it wouldn’t have saved her. Her power was to bribe somebody else.”

Kamu: “How do you feel about Yash?”
Mallory: “I love Yash.”
Kamu: “Me too. That dude is a ride-or-die type guy. When I voted for Melody, because I thought that’s what the house was doing, and everybody else flipped — Taylor tried to warn Yash, like, hey, the house is flipping. And Yash was like, nope, I’m sticking to the plan. Kamu’s voting Melody, I’m voting Melody with Kamu.”
Kamu: “He could have flipped, and he didn’t. So he was one of the three. It was me, Yash and Chuk.”
Kamu: “And then Dee tried to bribe Yash. I’m sure Yash will tell you this too. Dee tried to bribe Yash by saying, hey, I’ll give you the $5,000 if you don’t put up me and Angela. And Yash is like, no. Respect. And then she goes, well, what if you only use it on me? And Yash is like, no, I’m still not taking it. I was like, that’s the kind of person I want to work with.”

Mallory: “I wouldn’t take $5,000 either.”
Kamu: “$5,000, that’ll come and go. $5,000, you fill up your gas tank like three times. And then you owe money.”
Mallory: “And then you gotta upset other people in the house. Because I feel like everybody wants the Icons out.”
Kamu: “I hope so. Especially now, I hope so. Because people thought that I was really close with Haley and Chuk. And I think that I proved, by not using the veto last week, I think I proved to the house, like, hey, I’m not as close to them as everyone thinks.”
Kamu: “And then a lot of people thought that I was really close with the Icons. And truth be told, I used to be. And then that happened yesterday. So what I’m hoping for is people see, like — Kamu is not a part of this power trio with Haley and Chuk, and now the Icons just backstabbed him.”
Kamu: “So I’m hoping that, of course I want to win the Blockbuster, but even if I don’t, I’m hoping that the house comes together this week and goes, yo, we have to work together to get the Icons out.”

Kamu talking through the vote count with Mallory in the Big Brother 28 HOH room

Kamu: “All three of them had the opportunity to win power. Two of them did. Angela didn’t, but Angela was the first one to get power. And then now Devens flushed out his power.”
Kamu: “I don’t know for sure if Dee gave him the $5,000. I would guess that she did.”
Mallory: “That would be my guess too.”
Kamu: “Because why would Devens publicly make that move if he didn’t get the $5,000? Dee’s not a great competitor, you know? And it was a big move for him to do that in front of the whole house. So the only thing that makes sense for me is that she gave him the $5,000.”
Mallory: “Yeah, because I was just saying, I would never use my power on somebody else. But I guess if you wanted $5,000.”
Kamu: “Right. If you’re like, oh, it’s an easy $5,000. And maybe his power was about to expire, so he’s like, I might as well use it. Who knows? But regardless — that move right there, it showed everybody where their loyalties lie.”

“I hope I win the Blockbuster, but even if I don’t, I’d love for people to keep me in the house so that I can go after them.”

— Kamu (on the Icons)

Kamu: “So for me, I’m like, I hope I win the Blockbuster, but even if I don’t, I’d love for people to keep me in the house so that I can go after them. That’s my pitch to everybody. It’s like, look, I’m not coming after any of the rookies. I’m coming after the vets.”

Mallory: “And I feel like that is good, because then we can all make it to jury. Like, three more people have to go. There’s three Icons.”
Kamu: “Exactly. I was talking to Drew last night. I’m like, dude, we have the opportunity right now to take out Angela. I know that there are a lot of people who kind of feel iffy about Haley, and I get it, but every week the game has been changing. Every week the game has been shifting, new alliances have been formed, old alliances have been destroyed.”
Kamu: “So what I’m hoping for is, look, I hope that either Haley or myself wins the Blockbuster. And I’m hoping we take out Angela. And again, I know that if Haley’s sitting next to Angela, it might get a little bit weird.”
Mallory: “I think that is going to be tougher. I feel like there’s a lot of people that would rather see Haley go than Angela.”

Kamu: “I totally understand that. It makes sense. I’m hoping that if I’m sitting next to Angela, I’m hoping that enough people rally behind me.”
Mallory: “That I feel like has a bigger chance of happening. Haley and Angela — I feel like too many people have personal issues with Haley that they would have trouble trusting her.”
Kamu: “Totally. And it makes sense. What I’m hoping for is that Haley can maybe mend some relationships. I mean, if Haley has to go, Haley has to go.”
Mallory: “I’m good with Haley, but I think a lot of people aren’t.”
Kamu: “The way that I hope things play out is we take out Angela, and then the next two weeks it’s one and two. Whether it’s Devens or Dee. And they don’t have powers anymore.”
Mallory: “I feel like that’s part of what has been keeping them safe — people, including me if I ever won, have been scared to put them up, because you don’t want to put them up and then they just use their power.”
Kamu: “Exactly. Exactly. We could theoretically take them out, in a perfect world, before jury, and then all of us rookies just move forward together and battle it out at the end.”

Kamu: “But for me, right now, there was a line in the sand that was drawn yesterday publicly in front of the whole house.”
Kamu: “Devens and I, we were both in like three different alliances together. And I never had any intentions on putting him up or gunning after him ever. And I’m looking at what happened yesterday. I’m like, if he would do that to me, he would in a heartbeat do it to Barrett. He would in a heartbeat do it to Drew. He would do it to you like that. He wouldn’t even think twice about doing it to you.”
Mallory: “Yeah, like — no offense, I’m not even close with him.”
Kamu: “I’d be surprised if he didn’t. But he and I were close, and we were really working the game together. I’m like, oh, if he would do that to me, he’d do that to anybody. When he did that to me, he showed — he puts Dee way up here. And everybody else is nothing but just a pawn to get those two as far as they can. Even more so than Angela. But they look at Angela as a number.”

Kamu: “They come up with a strategy together, and I think that they just expect Angela to kind of do what they want her to do.”
Mallory: “I think Angela would just do what they want.”
Kamu: “I agree. I think that that’s why Angela flipped the vote. And lied about it. Probably because — I’m guessing it was Devens’ idea. And then Dee went along with it. And then I’m sure they just told Angela to go.”
Mallory: “I wonder why they did that. Like, I get not trusting Lyric, but it had kind of come out before that that no one could trust Lyric. So I assume the vote flip came from someone else that was kind of working with her.”
Kamu: “Yeah, I didn’t know who it came from. When Devens didn’t tell me, I was like, that’s shady. And then when Dee and Angela were lying to me, I was like, dude, this is all shady.”
Kamu: “That’s exactly why, in the storage room, I said to you and Melody, hey guys, if I win HOH, you guys are safe. I’m not coming after you. Because in that moment I was like, I’m starting new. This is a new game. I want to work with people that I can trust. And these people who I’ve been working with since day one and two all lied to me. I’m like, I can’t move forward with them.”

Kamu and Mallory near the end of their HOH room conversation

Kamu: “I’m just looking for people that I can trust. I trust Yash. Yash voted with me.”
Mallory: “I trust Yash too.”
Kamu: “And I trust Taylor. I think Taylor’s a real one. I think that Yash and Taylor, so far, have proven to me anyways to be the most trustworthy. And they love you, by the way.”
Mallory: “The three of us have been rocking together since the beginning, when Dee put all three of us up. So we’ve just kind of bonded over that. I trust them a lot too.”
Kamu: “And they always speak highly of you.”
Kamu: “I was sitting down there for a while and I asked, hey bro, can I go use your bathroom upstairs? And he’s like, yeah, go for it. But really, I just wanted to talk to you. And hopefully you and I can work something out. Even beyond this — like, if I stay, I would love to keep working with you. Let’s make it well into jury and let’s freaking run it.”
Kamu: “You’re a great competitor. I’m a great competitor. We kind of need each other, even as shields. Because people are going to come after us. Even if we get through the Icons, beyond that, people will still be coming after us because we’re competitive threats.”

Mallory: “I think so too. I think for Yash too.”
Kamu: “And for sure Yash. I was talking to Drew last night. I told Drew, I was like, dude, Dee already mentioned putting you up and Haley if she were HOH this week. But now? I’m like, bro, they’re going to be gunning after Yash. He’s the only person to win the trifecta. He has all three. And he’s close with me.”
Kamu: “So if they did this to Yash on his HOH, they’ll put him up. Arguably in the house’s eyes I’m probably his number one in the house — and it’s like, do they put up his number one on his HOH? They would throw him up like that.”
Mallory: “I think they would probably do Yash, you, and either me or Haley — one of us the renom.”
Kamu: “I 100% think so. Literally that, exactly. But for sure me and Yash. And it’s because we’re good competitors. They want to take out people who could win.”

Mallory: “Because they’re not that good of competitors.”
Kamu: “They’re not. Well, especially Dee and Angela.”
Mallory: “I know, I think Devens is.”
Kamu: “Yeah, Devens would be my number one target. Especially after yesterday.”

Mallory: “Yeah, kind of same. And now that he doesn’t have the power anymore, I think Devens is the most threatening. Yes, he gets people to trust him. He’s going after big targets. And he won that puzzle veto. He beat Jason. He’s good. I think he’s just been playing it low. I don’t think he’s a great physical competitor, but with stuff like puzzles, I think he would do really well.”
Kamu: “And even when we all used to work together, when I was tight with the Icons, it would be Devens who was the guy that I would strategize with. Dee and Angela would just kind of do whatever. Dee was very agreeable. It kind of bothered me, because one person would say something and she’d be like, oh yeah, of course. And then somebody would say something totally the opposite. And she’d be like, oh yeah, of course. And I was like, wait a second.”
Mallory: “Like, which one?”
Kamu: “I know we still have obviously all day today, all day tomorrow, and then Thursday. So we have plenty of time. But I at least want to let you know where my mind is at. I have right now three clear targets.”
Mallory: “And I think that’s what most people in the house are thinking too. I think that’s where most people’s heads are at — besides the Icons, obviously.”

Kamu: “I’m just hoping that people see the value in keeping me and they know that I’m not gunning after them. I guarantee you, if they had it their way, I’m probably there. Obviously they’re trying. I don’t think Devens would make a move like that and hope that I stay.”
Mallory: “I agree.”
Kamu: “So anyways, I’m going to get out of here just before somebody comes up. Good talk. I wanted to run that by you. Please keep the power — like, Dee’s power.”
Mallory: “I won’t tell anybody. I mean, people assume she has it anyway. But I don’t know what it was. I thought maybe it was like an HOH takeover that she didn’t use or something.”
Kamu: “It’s the BB Bribe.”
Mallory: “That makes sense. And I guess it’s gone now.”

Kamu: “I’m hoping. Because I don’t know for sure. But in my mind I’m thinking, I could definitely see that. Because they probably told each other about their powers. And so she was probably like, Devens, I’ll give you the 5K if you use your Diamond Veto on me. And he was probably like, bet.”
Mallory: “Wow.”
Kamu: “That’s what I’m guessing. So Yash is the only other person that I know who knows about the power. And it was because she tried to use it on him.”
Kamu: “Hey, thank you, PQ.”
Mallory: “I won’t tell anyone.”
Kamu: “I appreciate that. Thank you. Hey, and let’s freaking rock. As far as people that you would want to work with alliance-wise, who would you throw out? Who do you really trust?”

Mallory: “I really trust Yash and Taylor. And then I’m pretty confident Melody and Barrett wouldn’t put me up.”
Kamu: “Now, how close do you think Barrett is with Devens? That’s the only thing that makes me nervous sometimes, is their relationship. But I know that Devens would do to Barrett what he did to me. I just don’t know if Barrett realizes that.”
Mallory: “I know that Barrett is friends with all the Icons, but when I talk to him about that I would want to put them up, he doesn’t try to be like, oh, I don’t think that’s a good idea. I’ve also talked about, since the Rome thing, how I think Devens is untrustworthy and I would never work with him. And he sees that.”
Kamu: “Let’s say Barrett were to win HOH. Would he go after Devens, you think?”

Kamu and Haley talking in the Big Brother 28 Have-Not room

Mallory: “I think he would. I don’t know about Dee or Angela.”

Kamu: “Oh, you think he’s closer with them than Devens?”
Mallory: “I think he just trusts Devens less.”
Kamu: “Okay, interesting. That’s interesting. I always thought that they were the tightest.”
Mallory: “That would just be my guess, but I know he wouldn’t want to upset everybody in the house. So it would be best for his game if he won to put up the three Icons, and I think he knows that.”
Kamu: “Do you guys trust Drew?”
Mallory: “I trust Drew. Yeah, I trust Drew.”
Kamu: “What about Melody? I know you trust Melody. Does Melody also trust — I know that they’re super tight.”
Mallory: “Melody definitely trusts Drew.”

Kamu: “What if we ran something with all of us?”
Mallory: “Yeah, just to get out the Icons. I think that would be what everybody’s on board with.”
Kamu: “You, Melody, Drew, Barrett, me, Taylor, Yash.”
Mallory: “That’s seven. I think everybody’s down with getting the Icons out.”
Kamu: “And if Taylor’s with us, voila. Lala will vote however Taylor tells her to vote.”
Mallory: “Maybe not Lala, but I think that’s what the house is thinking. Like, let’s get out the Icons and run it.”

Kamu: “Okay. You’d be down for that? For that group?”
Mallory: “I’d be down for that, yeah.”
Kamu: “And we can keep it — like, I have a good relationship with Haley. We don’t have to include her. I can just tell her, hey, if you win the Blockbuster, I think this is how people are voting. And just be super low-key about it.”
Mallory: “Yeah, I think she would be down.”
Kamu: “I know she’s really close with Angela, but I think she and I have a better game relationship than her and Angela. I think that her and Angela’s relationship is pretty personal, like life, not game-wise. I don’t think she’s working with her that closely.”
Mallory: “It works out, because there’s three more people that have to go before jury, and there’s three Icons. That works for me.”

Kamu: “Literally, I love Barrett. I just know that he’s really close with Devens. At least it seems like he is.”
Mallory: “I think he is close with Devens, but I trust Barrett to not tell Devens things. We’ve both been saying, since he used everything Rome said against him, like, I would never tell Devens one single thing about my game. Because I would just be scared he would blow it up on purpose. I think he’s not working with Devens on a game level.”
Kamu: “Okay, okay, I’m so down. Yeah, I’m so down, and we run this all the way through jury. Let’s get to jury, and then I think you and I should even past jury, as competitors, I think we should still stay close.”
Mallory: “Yeah, to protect each other. But I think after that, I feel like we’re the next.”
Kamu: “Yeah, we’re next up.”

Kamu: “Awesome. Hey, I’m down. Who do you want me to talk to about this conversation? You want me to talk to Yash?”
Mallory: “I was going to say maybe Yash.”
Kamu: “Or maybe Yash can come up here and you guys can talk or something.”
Mallory: “Yeah, I’ll see what Melody is thinking with voting too. I’ll just see where other people’s heads are at right now.”
Kamu: “Perfect. I’m down to run it. Let’s get to jury. Let’s lock that in.”

Mallory: “I feel like people definitely aren’t going to want to keep Haley.”
Kamu: “Yeah, that’s fine. I think that Haley will vote however I’d tell her to vote. But we don’t have to include her in the alliance, because I know that she doesn’t get along with everybody. That’s totally fine with me.”
Kamu: “I keep thinking he’s going to come in here.”
Kamu: “If you want, I can try to low-key tell Yash to come up here. Are you going to be listening to music?”
Mallory: “No. I can wait here if you want to call Yash up here.”
Kamu: “Okay, I’ll try to get him.”

Haley and Kamu, both on the block, talking late in the Have-Not room

11:34 PM — Haley and Kamu (Have-Not Room)

Kamu is campaigning. The recording picks up part-way into his pitch.

Kamu: “The Icons made it clear yesterday they will prioritize each other over anybody else in the house. That’s dangerous, especially moving towards a jury. So, that’s my pitch. I’m trying to keep you safe, too. Who have you talked to?”
Haley: “I think it’s Barrett, Dee and Devens.”
Kamu: “It could be. It could be. It could be, but we have to try. We gotta try. Maybe if you win and I’m up there I go home, or if I win and you’re up there… You could be going home for sure, but there is a chance we can convince them to attack an Icon.”
Haley: “Who do you think is the one that, you know, you could persuade? Maybe Barrett. Have you talked to Melody and Mallory?”
Kamu: “I talked to Mallory.”
Haley: “What’d she say?”

“The Icons made it clear yesterday they will prioritize each other over anybody else in the house. That’s dangerous, especially moving towards a jury.”

— Kamu

There is a gap in the recording here of about twenty seconds. Haley’s answer is missing.

Haley: “Dee has gotten a lot closer with Melody.”
Kamu: “I know, I’ve noticed that. Crazy timing.”
Haley: “Well, it’s because Angela doesn’t — she doesn’t really care anymore at this point with her. She’s like, we don’t talk game. She goes — and when I told her, I was like, everyone’s so like… relationship-wise, like, everyone wants what you and I have. And, like, nobody — everyone sees that they can’t break that. That’s why it was, like, so crucial when we fought, that that was the split, you know? And everybody else had their end.”
Kamu: “Do you want Angela to stay?” [tagged as Haley in the file; the answer that follows is Haley’s, so this reads as Kamu]

Haley: “My anxiety — if I win, I’m great. I’m happy. I’m okay with Angela going. But my panic is getting that tree house and being isolated again. That’s my only thing. So I’m like, I’m good to rock another week. I’m here for it. But I want to keep going back up because I — you know what I mean? I’d rather play than sit.”
Kamu: “Yeah, no, that makes sense. Because then you’re active.”
Haley: “That’s my only thing, but I also don’t want to be like, okay, I’m ready to go, and then still have f—ing [Mallory?] here, Melody here. People — I’d be pissed if they end up winning, because I’m like, hey, come on now. But it would be cool if we got — it sucks at the end, but I wish it was—”
Kamu: “I don’t think there’s anything wrong.”

Haley: “I mean, I was kind about when I put her up. I wasn’t like, wow.”
Kamu: “You got to talk to her. Make amends with her.” [tagged as Haley in the file; the exchange that follows reads as Kamu]
Haley: “And say what?”
Kamu: “You guys got to clear the air.”
Haley: “I feel like we talk every day. We talked yesterday.”

Kamu: “You guys did?”
Haley: “We don’t talk about anything, but we are kind, obviously. But even when she said I’m a b—-, all this stuff, I was like, hey, listen, it is what it is. But I wasn’t mean about it. You might as well see it. I wasn’t mean about it. So I feel like I’m at a standpoint that I’m okay with whatever happens.”
Kamu: “Which is kind of like a freeing, liberating place to be, I guess.”
Haley: “It just sucks because I was with my two best friends last week, and now I’m with two different types of best friends this week. So I’m just like, I don’t know. But I just — I truly don’t think people are going to have your back.”
Kamu: “They might not.”

Haley: “That’s the same thing I told Chuk, because I’m like, this is the only way to get you [unclear] two chances. So, and against me up there — like, again, it could be — we’ve already, like, we’ve already done memory, balance, puzzle, all of that, so it could be — this could be Angela’s game, where she is not good.”
Kamu: “It could be the rope, too, where you’re attached to the rope and you have to jump over and under and freaking — and then sprint to the buzzer.”
Haley: “Yeah, could be. Also could be the ball. Could be the ball.”
Kamu: “Are you talking about the one where you drop it in?”

Haley: “No, you’re in this bubble and you have to collect all the balls and fill it up.”
Kamu: “Oh, yes. Yeah.”
Haley: “Angela said you have to sit on the vent. There’s vents, so sit on the vent. I just see people doing the same thing to you that they did to Chuk.”
Kamu: “Yeah, it could happen. I’m not dumb. You know what I mean? I’m not blind. I see it. I know that it could happen for sure.”
Haley: “But I’m down for whatever. Obviously, I’m going to try to win it. So whatever you guys steamroll, whatever after that, I’m kind of cool with.”

Kamu: “I’m definitely a lot better mentally this week than last week. That was rough.”
Haley: “But, yeah, I’ll talk to whoever I need to talk to. I just don’t want to. It just sucks it’s Angela. It’s not to your defense. But I’m not going to tell you I told you so. I’ll wait for a couple months.”
Kamu: “Wait till after the show.”
Haley: “I’ll make you a shirt that said I told you so.”
Kamu: “All right, cool. I’m an idiot.”

Haley: “It’s funny because I was like, I’ve had idiot this entire time. Now he has idiot across his forehead.”
Kamu: “Then she’s getting it.”

Haley: “Well, what do you want to do?”
Kamu: “It’s Big Brother. It’s freaking, you know.”
Haley: “But what do you want to do? Are you okay with campaigning against the Icons and making that the staple?”
Kamu: “Oh, yeah. Especially after yesterday. Yeah, 100%.”
Haley: “Do you think people see it that way?”
Kamu: “Yeah, I think so.” [tagged as Haley in the file; it answers her question, so it reads as Kamu]

Haley: “Well, because now it’s like we don’t have a trio.”
Kamu: “Exactly.”
Haley: “I also still got put up, so it still looks like I’m not working with anybody. We don’t really hang out. In plain sight. So, I mean, it makes sense. It makes sense. All the scenarios make sense to keep Angela another week and one of us out. Or to keep putting me up, which, again, I’ve already kind of said, like, I’d rather play than sit. So I’m down for whatever.”
Kamu: “Perfect.”
Haley: “But if it’s between you and I, like, go on with it, dude.”

Kamu: “100%, and same with you. But if you’re sitting up there next to Angela—”
Haley: “So it won’t be a watch. I’m just kidding. I think people would like her to stay, to be honest. I truly think people want her to stay, and then they go after the other two. I would like a heads-up, but if it’s not a clear heads-up, I’m cool.”
Kamu: “And I don’t even know if I’d be giving a heads-up because I’m on the block.”
Haley: “But the worst case scenario is I get to see my dog. Because this was a lot for me. But I’m happy I made it this far. I still want to still play.”

“But the worst case scenario is I get to see my dog. Because this was a lot for me. But I’m happy I made it this far.”

— Haley

Haley: “But I don’t want to be like — I feel like I’d be miserable if I was in Mallory’s spot, where she had the game at the beginning and now she doesn’t have it. So however we want to spin it, I just didn’t want to do it. Taylor and I obviously talked this morning. But it seems as if people just don’t want Angela out yet. Which — that makes me wary. I’m like, okay, then with you.”
Kamu: “Yeah. I get it. I know how it looks. I completely see why it would be beneficial for people to take me out. I also see why it would be beneficial for people to keep us, because… So, I don’t know. I can’t stress about it though. The way that my head works is, what’s gonna happen is gonna happen. It’s God’s plan. For me, all I can do is my best.”
Haley: “I just want you, when [you watch it back], to just look straight at my face. Because I was like — I wasn’t laughing, I was smirking. Because I’m like, this motherf—er, I told you [two different sisters?].”
Kamu: “No, I know, I know. It was funny, I saw Taylor, because Taylor was right across from me, and I could just see in my peripheral vision, she went— She’s like— That’s so funny.”
Kamu: “Honestly though, if you’ve got to get put up on the block, it’s kind of a cool way to have it done. The Diamond Power of Veto. I didn’t even know that power existed.”

Haley: “Have you talked to Dee again?”
Kamu: “No, not really.”
Haley: “No. Yeah, she cried all day, all last night. Angela said she just missed home, and I was like, I’m not saying I’m not empathetic. I’m saying that because people know that she’s a liar and she just got saved, and she’s still kind of in a s— boat because of the fact that if I go home this week, she takes that position.”
Kamu: “Right. Well, potentially — it depends on what the house— Does the house want to keep sitting back and playing the Icons?”
Haley: “So Taylor did tell me that she — they all felt at the beginning that they were just getting f—ing thrown up and, like, they were, like, so disposable. And now they’re kind of just sitting back watching what happened, because now it’s like the three against the three — well, now it’s only us two, quote unquote.”

Kamu: “Right, yeah.”
Haley: “But I think Yash would be the next big target, guy-wise.”
Kamu: “For sure, 100%.”
Haley: “And I think he sees that.”
Kamu: “Yeah, I think so too.”
Haley: “And it’s easier to have — in his eyes, I feel like it would be easier to have two big threats with him instead of against him.”

Kamu: “Right, makes sense.”
Haley: “Makes sense. But the house has to take a stand.”
Kamu: “And I think this is the week to do that. We’ll see.”
Haley: “So [unclear], I think, would go with us. I don’t know, I’m so wary about Drew. He goes with whoever is in power.”
Kamu: “Well, Yash is in power.”

Haley: “Well, not anymore. He just had — he played both ends of the house. So, and Taylor said that Lala will vote wherever she votes, and I was like, yeah, buddy, I don’t know about that, but we’ll see.”
Kamu: “Yeah, we’ll see. All I’m gonna do is — I’m just going to keep doing my best. That’s it. That’s all that I can do.”
Haley: “I’m still taking it as player win or player go home.”
Kamu: “Yeah, that’s how I’m thinking about it, too.”
Haley: “Because I think if we think about it any other way — it’s what I was telling Chuk. I was like, win or go home. I’m thinking about it that way.”

Kamu: “Agreed.”
Kamu: “Go get some rest, homie. Go feel better. You want anything?”

They talk for a minute about how Haley is holding up.

Haley: “Well, I’m not even really stressed. I feel like I was way worse last week.”
Kamu: “Yeah, you’re handling this well.”
Haley: “Well, I mean — and they were, like, before the veto, they both were like, how are you so calm? And I was like, because I played collegiate sports. Like, you can’t — like, and I was the main event. Like, you can’t be frantic.”
Kamu: “You gotta stay calm. Exactly. You’re right.”
Haley: “Exactly.”

The recording ends mid-sentence.

Mallory and Yash talking in the Big Brother 28 HOH room

11:30 AM — Mallory and Yash (HOH)

Mallory reports back from her conversation with Kamu.

Mallory: “It was good. He was obviously saying, like, get out Angela this week. I don’t think that’s possible if it’s Angela versus Haley. I think too many people are gonna want Haley.”
Yash: “I think it’s better.”
Mallory: “I mean, like, it’s your HOH. I’m going to do how you want.”
Yash: “I appreciate that.”
Mallory: “Just, like, I don’t think even if I did vote out Angela, I don’t think it would happen.”

Yash: “I kind of feel like it would be beneficial to keep Haley because, like, I’ve spoken to her and she is, like, with the s— about putting all of them up.”
Yash: “And I know Kamu also is, like — even after all that’s said and done, I think Kamu would then go for Haley before any of us, which is good.”
Mallory: “You really think he would go after Haley?”
Yash: “I think so. Because he feels burned by them, which is valid.”
Mallory: “Why does he feel burned by Haley?”

Yash: “Just because she accused him of lying. She was so quick to dismiss him when Angela and Dee both said, we’re telling the truth.”
Mallory: “She believed them over him.”
Yash: “And he does kind of feel like now, of course, she’s going to want to rock with Kamu because he’s all she has. So I do not think he values that relationship. Which is good.”
Yash: “Because, like, I feel like, again, if he doesn’t value her, he doesn’t value them, like, who’s he going to value? It’s going to be, like, us.”

Yash has something else he has been holding back.

Yash: “I do want to talk to you and Melody. Because, like, once we talk about it, things will just make sense about this week. But I do want to talk about it.”
Yash: “I feel like I could just tell you, but then I also want Melody to be here because then you guys can also talk about it amongst yourselves.”
Mallory: “Yeah, okay.”

Yash: “Should I just go grab her?”
Mallory: “Where is she?”
Yash: “I think she’s in the hot tub. You want to go get her? And just be like, hey, you want to go upstairs and work out?”
Mallory: “What if she says no?”
Yash: “Yeah, oh yeah, she might say no. Yeah, because she’s in there with Dee and Devens. Because I was in there, and then I got called to the DR, and then I came up.”
Mallory: “Okay.”

Yash: “I wanted to tell you this s— for, like, two days, but I’ve been waiting. Because, like, I don’t want to wait too f—ing late.”
Yash: “Okay, no, I actually did want to tell you in particular. And then I can tell Melody if you want. We’ll just talk about it again later.”
Yash: “So the first thing — and this one, this part, I don’t even know if I want to tell Melody, but I’ll tell her. When I first had the conversation with Dee, it was the first conversation before noms. I was like, who would you put up if you were in my shoes?”
Yash: “She said Haley and Drew. Haley and Drew, no hesitation.”

Yash: “And I was like, all right. I don’t want her putting up Drew.”
Yash: “And then the next one, I had the rest of the conversation and she came back up thinking she was going to go up. She said, I could tell by the vibes.”
Yash: “And then she said — because she addressed it — she’s like, the reason I told people I don’t trust you is because I know you were in the room having a conversation about getting the Icons out.”

Yash: “So I’m thinking, who the f— told Dee that? Because she didn’t just say, I know you guys are going for the Icons. She said, you were in the room, which means she knew the details.”
Yash: “The one we had up here. The one with Lala, Barrett and Drew grinding the slop, Taylor in the bathroom, and us.”
Yash: “It was me, Lala, Taylor, you, Melody, Drew, Barrett.”

Yash: “I know Taylor didn’t do it. I’m not even going to f—ing tell Lala. Like, I’m not telling Lala.”
Yash: “So I’m telling you now because I trust you the most. Out of us, I trust you the most. I know you wouldn’t f—ing tell her.”
Mallory: “No.”
Yash: “So I’m like, how the f— did she know the details?”
Mallory: “That’s so weird.”

Mallory: “Did you ask who told her?”
Yash: “Bro, she was doing the thing. I have names, but I’m not going to tell you.”
Mallory: “Like, prove it.”
Yash: “But she knew the details, which is why I was like, she knew. Which pissed me off. Because then I’m like, someone in here is f—ing telling her s—.”

The other thing Dee told Yash was about her power.

Yash: “So then she has the power. And I know Kamu said he told you. I told him yesterday, I was like, I need to tell Mallory. I need her to know.”
Yash: “So then she has, like, the BB Bribe. I didn’t know it was called the BB Bribe until Kamu told me, because Dee told him.”
Mallory: “I wonder why.”
Yash: “Because they were close three weeks ago, when they were all on the same —”
Mallory: “Oh, yeah.”

Yash: “But it was news to me. So she sits in, she’s like, I like money. I know you like money. And I started smiling, like, yeah. I didn’t think it was a f—ing power.”
Yash: “She’s like, if I gave you $5,000, would you not put me up?”
Yash: “And I was like, I’d have to think about it.”

Yash listening as Malloory

Yash: “And then she suggested you and Melody. Which I’m thinking, that’s f—ing — because when she said the Drew thing to me earlier in the day, I kind of said, like, I rock with Drew. I’m not going to put him up.”
Yash: “So she knew not to say Drew, but she said you two.”
Yash: “And, like, to me, I’m like, bro, I’m not f—ing taking money to put up my people.”
Mallory: “Yeah, what?”

“You’re not going to offer me five bands to put up my people.”

— Yash

Yash: “F— no. That goes against what I believe in and how I want to play this game. You’re not going to offer me five bands to put up my people.”

Yash: “But then I thought about it after, right? And I was like, why did she not say Barrett?”
Yash: “Which sussed me out. Which is why earlier in the week I was kind of asking you about, like, where’s Barrett’s head at?”
Yash: “And then during the OTEV comp, he showed her the answer.”
Yash: “If she said Drew, and then she suggested you two — why did she not say Barrett?”

Yash: “I feel like Melody would not tell them that either, which is why I wanted to talk to both of you. Why did she not say Barrett? Because everyone views you guys as a four anyway.”
Yash: “Why would she omit Barrett from the suggestion?”
Mallory: “Yeah.”
Yash: “Which just skeeves me out a bit.”
Mallory: “That is weird.”

Yash: “And then it also told me, if she f—ing wins, it’s you three going up. Because she said it without saying it.”
Yash: “She suggested you two, she said Drew, and she said Haley. But if Haley goes, then it’s you three.”
Yash: “Which is another benefit to keeping Haley. It keeps one seat filled if she f—ing wins.”

Yash: “And I know now she would put you three up. And I was like, yeah, she would put up Kamu.”
Mallory: “Yeah. 1000%. I think so too.” [tagged as Yash in the file; reads as Mallory agreeing]
Yash: “But then I was like, bro, honestly, I think she’d put up you too. I think so. And actually, bro, that s— can piss me off.”

Yash: “And I don’t know the details of the power. She didn’t really f—ing tell me the fine print. It was, I’ll give you $5,000 to keep me safe for the week.”
Mallory: “I think what it is, if she doesn’t use the power, she keeps $5,000. And then if you guys do it, you get the $5,000 at the end of the show.”
Yash: “Yeah. I mean, I declined it. I was like, no f—ing chance.”
Mallory: “I wouldn’t do that for $5,000 either.”

Mallory: “And, like, if Dee had to bribe you to keep her off the block, she obviously knew you would have put her up.”
Yash: “That’s what I’m saying. And, bro, I’m like, I love you guys. I do not want to freaking take $5,000 over putting you guys up.”
Yash: “That, again, was information I got that I was like, okay, there’s a lot of good information here.”

Yash: “Why didn’t she mention Barrett? She is close with Barrett. They’re close. I know they’re close.”
Yash: “And I now know about Devens and Dee. They downplay the extent of their relationship.”
Mallory: “Yeah, for sure.”
Yash: “Clearly. Even when I asked them about Barrett and I asked Barrett about them, they kind of downplay it. Like, bro, we’re friends. We’re friends.”

Yash: “Why did she mention Drew, you and Melody and not Barrett?”
Yash: “And also in the room, if there were two to tell her, I would put my money on Drew or Barrett. But it wasn’t Drew because she said she’d put up Drew. It’s like, who does that leave?”
Yash: “Unless someone else is out here telling them. I’m not f—ing telling Lala s—. She doesn’t need to know.”

Yash: “Taylor, I’m not going to ask Taylor because we know it’s not Taylor. And I know it’s not you. And I’m willing to assume it’s not Melody.”
Mallory: “Yeah, I don’t think Melody’s even close with Dee.”
Yash: “They’ve been getting closer since yesterday, but it was before yesterday.”

Yash: “A part of me was like, damn, bro. I f—ing declined the bribe. She gets pulled off the block anyway. And I’m like, bro, what the f— is this s—?”
Mallory: “Yeah, that is—”
Yash: “It’s f—ing annoying. Because at that point, you weren’t going to be sitting there anyway. I could have just maybe put up Barrett, who is safe no matter what. He would never have the votes.”

Yash: “But then the flip side of that is, this HOH, one of the powers got used and the other one we now know about.”
Mallory: “Yeah.”
Yash: “Which is still a W. And we could still get an Icon out potentially. So I’m like, this could still be good.”

Yash: “Again, this is why her freaking bribe confused me. The way she first started it, she’s like, would you take $5,000 to keep me and Angela safe for the week?”
Yash: “And that one in my head, I was like, f— no. What do you think I am?”
Yash: “But I had to be like, I’ll think about it.”
Yash: “Then she was like, okay, just me. Just me, just me. And in my head, I’m like, all right, f— no again.”

Yash: “But again, it f—ing showed me they’re close as f—. They act like they’re not, but they’re close as f—.”
Mallory: “That’s so weird you said Angela, not Devens.”
Yash: “Well, because Devens wasn’t up. This was after she got the vibe.”
Mallory: “Okay, so she knew you weren’t going to put up Devens?”
Yash: “Yeah, she knew I wasn’t putting up Devens.”

Mallory: “I knew as soon as there were three Icons, before I even knew who they were, they’re just gonna stick together. They all have a target on them just for being Icons. They would be dumb not to.”
Yash: “Yeah. And then also the names she’s thrown out, I’m like, all right, well, what the f— is going on there?”
Mallory: “Does she not know that you’re friends with us?”
Yash: “That’s what I was like. In my head, I’m like, you’re dumb.”

Yash: “There’s no way I’d ever take the money. Even if it was $10,000, I would’ve said, nah, bro.”
Mallory: “No, that’s not worth it to piss off the whole house.”
Yash: “And go against people I genuinely have love for. It’s not how I am.”

Yash: “The way I view it is, we take the kill shot on an Icon. Because then who do they have? Even if it is the three of them and Barrett — let’s just say that’s worst-case scenario.”
Mallory: “I don’t think Barrett would ever go against us.”
Yash: “I think Barrett likes being with the house. So if we take Angela out, who do Dee and Devens have? At most, Barrett.”
Mallory: “Yeah.”
Yash: “And that’s much less threatening than another number.”

Yash: “Haley, bro, I’ve talked to her, and she’s with taking them out. She’s with that s—.”
Yash: “And I feel like even if we keep her, between me, you and Kamu, we can cut her out when the time comes. Because we still don’t f— with her. We can’t ever f— with her.”
Yash: “But she significantly helps our cause of getting them out.”

Yash: “If we keep her, just kind of supercharge her to fire that way. And then when one of us wins, we could still always nominate her.”
Yash: “Let’s say in two weeks we’re targeting Devens. We’re still going to need two seats to fill. Put Haley up there, and we’re like, all right, one of them goes.”
Mallory: “That’s true.”
Yash: “Whereas I feel like if we lose Haley, they get more power from that because all three Icons are still up there.”

Yash: “And then if we lose me and Haley, it’s like two of our big competitors who would be on our side are gone. So the power is completely skewed now.”
Mallory: “They’re not good competitors, though. I think Devens is.”
Yash: “I think Devens plays it dumb.”
Mallory: “I think he’s been playing dumb. But soon it’s going to start getting more physical. I don’t think any of them are good physical competitors. Even Devens. I think Devens is smart, good at puzzles, he’s strategic. But a real thing where you have to move fast, be strong, I don’t think he would do that.”

“I wanted you guys to know I declined that $5,000 just so you know how real that s— is, bro. I’m fully with you guys.”

— Yash

Yash: “I wanted you guys to know I declined that $5,000 just so you know how real that s— is, bro. I’m fully with you guys. I trust you guys. I love you guys. I want y’all to know that.”
Mallory: “Yeah, I 100% fully trust you. And Taylor too. I feel like we’ve been rocking since the beginning. I do completely trust you.”
Mallory: “And I agree that I think an Icon should go this week. I just think between Haley and Angela, I think it’s gonna be really hard to do that.”

Mallory: “Are you sure Kamu would never start working with Haley again?”
Yash: “I’m certain on it. Like, if I’m wrong about that — put me up, whoever, if I’m wrong about that. I know it in my bones.”
Mallory: “Because I would trust Kamu a lot more if he didn’t have Haley. I think she’s kind of like a safety net for him.”
Mallory: “Logically, Kamu wouldn’t turn on us because he has nobody else. Whereas if he has Haley and they’re both — we don’t need a Haley-level competitor to beat the Icons. I think most of us can do it.”

Mallory: “But if the votes are there to keep Haley, I’m not gonna be the swing that changes that. That’s just where I’m at.”
Yash: “That’s fair. Because I also do see that point of view, where if she’s there he might have some sort of conflicting opinions in his ear.”

Mallory: “He didn’t use the veto on Haley and Chuk because he thought they were lying, but, you know, they weren’t. He put me up because Lyric told him a lie, and I wasn’t lying, but he believed it. So that makes me worried.”
Yash: “He might just believe things.”
Yash: “I don’t think he didn’t use it on Haley because he thought they were lying. I think it was just him saying he’s with us. That was my interpretation of it.”
Yash: “But I think also now he sees the benefit in using her. Using her to our advantage. Because even if we use her for one week and then we get her ass out, I think it’s worth it.”

Mallory: “I can see why. I’m not oblivious to that. I just am scared of, let’s just say in the future all three Icons are out, I’m scared of Haley and Kamu just teaming up and running it.”
Yash: “Okay, I see what you’re saying.”
Yash: “Are you with keeping Kamu, though?”
Mallory: “If everybody is, I’m with it too. I’m going to respect what you want.”
Yash: “Okay, thank you.”

Mallory: “I can see people thinking the same thing. Kamu’s a great competitor, and this is a chance to get him out without any of us getting blood on our hands.”
Mallory: “I definitely see both sides. I trust that Kamu’s going to go for the Icons. I do. But I’m also scared about what happens after that.”
Mallory: “Because he’s smart. He knows the show. I think he would be smarter, just from his perspective, to come after the good competitors.”

Mallory: “Because if all the Icons are gone, and he’s in the final with, let’s just say, Barrett, Drew, Melody, Taylor, Lala — who wins every time?”
Yash: “Yeah, he does.”
Mallory: “I don’t trust him as much as you. I know you have a very good trust with him, which is valid.”
Mallory: “I think both Haley and Kamu are less scary if they don’t have each other. But I agree, he’s going to go after the Icons, which we need.”

Mallory: “And you kept me safe this week. And if you want to keep Kamu, I’m with that.”
Yash: “Okay, thank you. Yeah, that means a lot too. That’s why I wanted to talk to you.”
Yash: “I also know logically people are gonna think this is our chance to get out Kamu.”
Mallory: “You should at least consider it.”

Mallory: “I know you trust Kamu, but just logically from his perspective, once the Icons are gone, I think he would come after you and me.”
Mallory: “He’s been rocking with Haley since the beginning. And I remember what it felt like the first couple weeks.”
Mallory: “He’s good at winning trust, and he’s here to win.”

Mallory: “I’m the same as you where I wouldn’t take $5,000 to put up people or go against the people that I have love for. I feel like he is willing to kind of do what it takes to win.”
Mallory: “If he would betray Chuk and Haley, even though that might have been the right thing to do, I have no reason to think that he wouldn’t do that to us.”

“This is the only time in the entire game we can take the shot at him without any blood on our hands.”

— Mallory on Kamu

Mallory: “So I think we should at least consider it. Because this is, I’m going to say, the only time in the entire game we can take the shot at him without any blood on our hands.”
Mallory: “You didn’t put him up. But for him to ever get out, someone’s going to have to put him up. And he’s a good competitor who has a really good chance of taking himself off the block.”
Mallory: “I would be too scared to put him up, genuinely.”

Yash: “Because it’s so hard to send him home.”
Mallory: “So this is the only time that we would have that chance. We don’t need a great competitor to take out the Icons.”
Yash: “But the part that makes me nervous about him going is that it moves us up the chopping block. If Kamu’s gone, it’s me, you, Haley, and then a big fall-off in terms of who’s a competitive threat.”

Mallory: “That’s if the Icons win HOH.”
Yash: “I’m nervous of it, though. I don’t even know why, but I feel like he’s a great shield.”
Yash: “And especially once it gets down to just two nominations, we will always have the numbers. Even if we put them up every week. We will always have the numbers.”

Yash: “This is assuming after we get Haley out too. Because I do think we can beat the two of them. Not in everything, but we can beat the two of them in a lot of things.”
Mallory: “Like Haley and Kamu, you think?”
Yash: “Yeah, in competitions. Let’s say when there’s seven people left and both of them are still there. We will have the numbers, because people, I think, will rock with us more. They’re both still kind of on an island.”

Mallory: “There’s clear sides right now. There’s, like, us versus the Icons. But that’s going to change pretty quick.”
Mallory: “Would you rather be in a Blockbuster against Angela or against Kamu?”
Yash: “That’s a good point.”
Mallory: “Because the sides can’t last the rest of the game. I just am afraid. Haley and Kamu have been together since the beginning.”

Mallory: “I still feel a type of way because I almost went home. Not that I don’t trust him, but I can’t shake that feeling of when they were together, and I could just see them doing it again.”
Yash: “And I understand that too.”
Mallory: “I’m going to do what you want, but I do definitely just want that to be considered.”
Yash: “Now that you say it, I’m actually going to think about that too, because I kind of ruled it out in my head.”

Mallory: “This is the only time we can ever get Kamu out without any risk of getting blood on our hands.”
Yash: “You’re right.”
Mallory: “I mean, who knows? He might win the Blockbuster.”
Yash: “I feel like if he goes, bro, then I’m next. I think I don’t make it past two or three weeks if he goes.”
Mallory: “Well, you have more people that trust you. People will vote to keep you. I can’t say the same about Kamu.”

Yash: “I want to hope that I would have votes no matter what with our people. But then a part of me just sees the pattern. Devens and the Icons clearly go after targets. They shot down Rome before he could get going. Now they did it with Kamu.”
Yash: “If he goes, it is me next. They would just get another competitive male out.”
Yash: “And then the same logic would naturally transpire too, where people are like, is this our chance to get out a competitive guy? That’s what makes me nervous.”

Mallory: “Well, I think the difference is people trust you. If this was you, I would be like, I know Yash is not going to team up with someone else and run us out.”
Yash: “That’s true. I’m glad you guys know that too.”

The conversation circles back to Barrett.

Yash: “The Barrett thing just made me nervous.”
Mallory: “That is weird.”
Yash: “Isn’t that odd?”
Mallory: “I don’t think Barrett would ever, at least for me specifically —”
Yash: “He would never put you up.”
Mallory: “I don’t think he’d put me up, but I don’t think he would even tell Dee something that makes me look bad.”

Mallory: “But, I mean, then who was it though? I guess it could have been Drew.”
Yash: “But I feel like she would not have said then, I’ll put up Drew. That part sussed me out.”
Mallory: “I really think Barrett wanted to win the veto and didn’t want them to win.”
Yash: “Yeah. And he told me he wouldn’t use it.”

Mallory: “I only tell you that just to keep an eye out. I’ve always just kind of assumed that Barrett would rock with what we want, but I should really consider he is close with the Icons and the Icons wouldn’t put him up. None of the three would put him up.”
Yash: “That’s why too, I still trust him and I like him. I love him. But I’d be dumb to just assume he’s fully with us. Especially when all of these things have now come up.”

Yash: “Another thing I noticed was after Devens did the veto s—, he gravitated in social environments next to Barrett, next to Barrett, next to Barrett.”
Yash: “That’s a social behavior where when you’re nervous, you go where you’re comfortable. After that, when he didn’t know who he could go to—”
Mallory: “I know Barrett doesn’t trust Devens.”
Yash: “You know that?”
Mallory: “Since the Rome thing, we’ve talked about that.”

Mallory: “Barrett at first told me he wasn’t there for that whole meeting during Rome’s HOH. And then an hour later he was like, no, I was there. And I already knew.”
Mallory: “But we talked about how Rome clearly trusted Devens, and Devens blew up his game. So I was like, if you’re flipping on me and working with them, you’d be the biggest idiot.”
Mallory: “I know they’re Icons and he loves Survivor. I know you think it would be cool, but you would be dumb to work with them. They’re taking out people they think have a chance of winning.”

Yash: “That’s another part that makes me nervous. He is a big fan. And I think sometimes that opens the door where you might look at things with rose-tinted lenses and you might just think it’s cool.”
Yash: “But, dude, they are dangerous. The three of them, even though I don’t think they can win a lot, they’re dangerous.”

“Kamu is our sword and shield.”

— Yash

Yash: “Especially with Kamu, if we lose Kamu, bro, I just know I’m next. And I trust our relationships, but I feel like Kamu is a shield. Even just as a shield.”
Yash: “Bro, he’s a sword and a shield for us.”
Yash: “Haley is, like, okay, cool. I’m fine if she goes. I think it’s beneficial if we keep her. But Kamu is our sword and shield.”

Mallory: “I agree, for now, 100%. I’m just scared about being in the end where Kamu’s just winning everything.”
Mallory: “If Kamu and Haley stay, I could just see them winning and taking people out one by one. I think we are good competitors too. We have things that we can beat them in. But wouldn’t it just be better if that wasn’t even a thing?”
Yash: “Yeah.”

Yash: “If we could f—ing pick the next four gone, it would just be Devens, Dee, Kamu, Haley. We call it a day.”
Mallory: “Yeah. And then we could just run it.”
Yash: “We could just run it.”

Yash also questions where Drew really stands.

Yash: “Part of me also gets nervous that Drew’s not trying to win.”
Mallory: “You think? I think he definitely wanted to win the wall.”
Yash: “Yeah, the wall, I think. But some of the other ones, I get nervous about, bro.”
Yash: “When you’re in conversations with him, does he ever really take a stance?”

Mallory: “Low-key, no. Obviously Melody isn’t Haley’s biggest fan. So even if Melody’s talking about Haley, Drew will just be devil’s advocate about her. And then Melody will be like, why are you sticking up for her? And he’ll be like, no, no, I’m not.”
Yash: “Yeah, and that tells me he’s just so comfortable with whatever happens as long as he’s not up. Which makes me nervous, because I want the people we’re with to know what the f— we’re here for.”

Mallory: “I do think Drew wants to win. I agree he probably doesn’t really super care who’s up if it’s not him. But I think he thinks he has a good chance of going up with a lot of people.”
Yash: “A few weeks ago after one of the comps, he said, did you really want to win that? I was like, what the f— do you think, bro? Obviously.”

Yash: “A lot of times Drew’s in the room with these conversations that I’m having. Open conversations. But he doesn’t contribute much or take a stance.”
Yash: “Which makes me nervous when it comes down to moments where you need to take a stand. Does he do it or not?”
Yash: “If it was your HOH and I’m on the block, we need Drew to pull for your HOH to not be an L and me to stay. Would he actually put his foot down in a conversation and do it?”
Yash: “A part of me is like, I don’t think he would. Whereas I know you would. I know I would. I know Taylor would.”

Yash: “Again, this week, we should have the numbers to do whatever. We should have like five minimum. You, Drew, Lala, Taylor, Barrett, Melody.”
Yash: “I definitely am going to consider all of the options.”
Mallory: “Especially if Haley is gone, I could see myself trusting Kamu. But I would hate to regret not getting him out. The one opportunity we have where no one has any risk.”

Mallory: “For the rest of the season, if we want to take a shot at Kamu, there’s a good chance he’s coming off the block. And someone’s going to have to take that risk, which personally I am nervous to do right now. And I think a lot of people probably feel the same way.”
Yash: “Yeah. Because that is true. This is the only time we would be able to do it without getting blood.”
Mallory: “Without anyone having to really — he could stay completely fired up with the Icons, and if he wins Blockbuster, he could think we were going to keep him all along.”

Yash: “I’m not going to tell him I’m even thinking about him any differently. But that’s still four or five weeks. Because to get three people out, it’s not going to just be three weeks.”
Yash: “If he’s still useful for four or five weeks, that’s a lot of value we can still extract.”
Mallory: “But I also want to consider the risk.”

Mallory: “Besides the Icons, who do you think Kamu and Haley think can beat them in competitions?”
Yash: “Me and you.”
Mallory: “Me and you. And they’re smart. Kamu loves the show. The first thing he would do would be come after me and you.”
Yash: “A part of me believes, though, that he really wouldn’t. And that’s probably him genuinely being honest, or it’s him being good at lying or gaining trust.”

Yash: “There was one thing he was saying, I don’t remember if it was when he was reading his letter or something, but he was like, when I came here, I wanted to play a game that my parents would be proud of. I pride it on being an honest game.”
Yash: “I feel like he wouldn’t say that if he didn’t mean it. But again, things do change.”
Mallory: “He probably does mean it right now. Like, I’m rocking with you guys, let’s get the Icons out. But it’s not forever.”

Mallory: “If he gets into a position of power and the Icons are gone, it would just make sense, at least especially me. Maybe it’s personal because I don’t have that trust with him that you have. But I think it would make sense to go after you too.”
Mallory: “If he is in a competition with just Taylor, Melody, Drew, Barrett, he wins every time.”
Yash: “He’s going to win.”

Yash: “A little part of me is just scared because by the same logic Kamu goes up would be the same logic I go up. Especially after now winning this week twice. I know how the view is. It’s like, he’s competitive.”
Mallory: “Yeah, and I guess you put them up.”
Yash: “And I put them up. So I know I would go up.”

Mallory: “It would be the same logic with me.”
Yash: “Which is why I want them gone.”
Mallory: “I don’t see Angela winning, though. Between Dee and Devens, they’re still going to be here. I don’t see Angela winning.”
Yash: “But she’s a number. That’s what makes me nervous. When it comes down to getting people out, it’s not about just winning and losing. It’s about numbers.”

Yash: “If we get rid of Angela, the max amount of numbers Dee and Devens are going to have is three. The max. And we know they like flipping votes. The last two weeks they tried to flip it and Angela was down each time. She was just, you tell me where to go.”
Mallory: “Somehow three is enough to flip it.”
Yash: “Three is enough to flip it.”

Yash: “If next Thursday morning, one hour before the show, the three of them start telling people we’re all doing it, I feel like our people are going to fold.”
Yash: “Not us, but Drew — again, I don’t think would put his foot down and be like, this is what we’re doing. I think he would say, okay, that’s what we’re doing. Barrett, question mark.”

Yash: “Their power is their number. Even though Angela is zero threat to win. I view her as zero threat to win. She is a number for them, which gives them influence.”
Yash: “I think they look at her the way we look at Lala. She’s going to do what we tell her to do.”
Mallory: “Yeah.”
Yash: “Even if she can’t win necessarily, she’s going to do what we tell her to do because she’s with us. Which is what makes me nervous about keeping Angela.”

Yash: “If she gets out, Kamu and Haley win one and f—ing take that shot at Dee and Devens.”
Yash: “And Haley too, she’s a revolving door in terms of noms. She’ll be up every week and I don’t think she’ll care.”
Yash: “At this point, the way she talks about it, she expects to be put up every week, which is perfect.”

Yash: “We have someone who will fight for us and take the shots we need.”
Mallory: “But doesn’t care if she gets put up.”
Yash: “But doesn’t give a s— if she gets put up. Which means zero blood.”
Yash: “And she’ll take shots we need for the next two to four weeks.”

Yash: “Bro, to me, great. Especially with you who have — you’ve done my people wrong. I have no problem discarding you when it’s time.”
Yash: “Because I don’t like you because of what you’ve done to my friends. I don’t like you. You could be serviceable now, but — you did my people wrong. So I can’t stand by that.”

Yash: “The only thing better than outright getting rid of her is f—ing using her for our cause and then getting rid of her. If she wins, we’re safe. And if she loses, she’s up.”
Mallory: “That’s just another person in a chair that isn’t us.”
Yash: “Exactly. And same premise with Kamu. If he wins, we’re safe. If he doesn’t win, he’s put up.”

Mallory: “I just think Kamu’s here to win. He’s smart. He loves Dan Gheesling. I do trust him for right now, but he is going to be a logical, strategic thinker.”
Mallory: “I’m way less threatened by Haley. And I’m less threatened by Kamu if Haley isn’t here. Because who’s he going to work with? Same thing with Haley. I’m less threatened by Haley if Kamu isn’t here.”

Mallory: “I do see what you’re saying. He’s a shield for us. And it won’t come down to that for a couple weeks. But we have a really good opportunity right now that I never could have imagined.”
Mallory: “None of us have to get on Kamu’s bad side to have a chance to get him out. And if he doesn’t win the Blockbuster, I would hate to regret not getting him out when we had the chance. Because he’s someone that I could see winning this whole show.”

Yash: “Yeah. I think the same thing. He is clearly a threat.”
Mallory: “And I think that about some other people too, but I trust them.”
Yash: “It’s hard to trust him.”
Yash: “That’s why I’m glad we’re talking about it, because having blind trust is not good. You have to hear your trusted people’s opinions and outlooks on it. That is something to consider. I do have to think a little bit more long term.”

Mallory: “Look how I almost went home because someone told him a lie. And I was in here telling him the truth, full honesty. It couldn’t have looked like I was lying because I wasn’t, but it didn’t matter.”
Yash: “You’re right.”
Mallory: “If I hadn’t won that Blockbuster, I would have gone home. And I did nothing. I was not going to put him up.”
Yash: “Not at all.”

Yash: “Dee and Devens just make me nervous, bro. Because they low-key have influence.”
Mallory: “If it was Dee or Devens up there right now, I would be more leaning towards let’s get them out. But the fact that it’s Angela, who I think is zero for three — I completely agree she’s a number, but next week you’re gonna need four votes to tie.”

Yash: “Okay, wait. Let’s run a sim for next week just to see.”
Mallory: “This week you need five votes to stay. Next week you’re going to need four votes to tie.”
Yash: “Let’s say Dee wins it. She puts up me, Kamu slash Haley, and you.”

Yash: “Who is the voting pool then? It’s Angela, Devens, Kamu slash Haley, Barrett, Lala, Melody, Drew.”
Mallory: “Did you say Taylor?”
Yash: “Taylor.”
Yash: “Angela, Devens are going to do whatever Dee wants. So that brings it down to six possible people.”
Mallory: “And maybe even if they have Barrett, that’s still not enough.”

Yash: “That still would be five. Drew, Melody, Lala, Taylor, Kamu slash Haley.”
Yash: “Dude, that’s tough, bro. I see what you’re saying.”
Yash: “And that’s if Dee wins.”
Yash: “Dude, I wish I could f—ing compete next week, bro.”

Yash: “It almost makes me think — and this was another thing I wish I didn’t think — should I have just let Barrett win to see what he would have done? Because who would he put up?”
Mallory: “I don’t even know.”
Yash: “Probably Lala.”
Mallory: “Yeah, because Lala put him up. And then I don’t know, but I don’t think you.”
Yash: “I don’t think so either.”

Yash: “I like Barrett a lot. I trust him, and I think we trust each other. The only question mark I have on him is that dotted line to the Icons. Because we know he’s a fan. We know he’s close friends with them.”
Yash: “It would be dumb to assume if you’re a fan and you’re close friends, you wouldn’t have some sort of working relationship.”

Mallory: “Kamu’s a great competitor. We don’t need a great competitor to get the Icons out.”
Mallory: “I wouldn’t ever, I think, tell someone this early to put Kamu up because it’s such a risk, and I think he is with us right now. But we have this opportunity. I just think it’s definitely worth considering.”
Yash: “Yeah. Because most of the people we are working with might be too scared to take that shot.”

Yash: “I know we would when the time comes.”
Mallory: “But what if we don’t even have to?”
Yash: “What if he’s just gone?”
Mallory: “Yeah. And I think our chances of beating an Icon in a competition is greater than our chances of beating Kamu in a competition.”

Yash: “I think one-on-one, yes, but three-v-one? What is Angela going to win? Realistically, nothing.”
Yash: “But we did also kind of think that about Lala. And she won the f—ing wall. This game is luck.”
Yash: “Even some of these vetoes are luck. Barrett’s veto, the Kamu one, it came down to 50-50. Pure luck. Barrett stepped on the wrong one, Kamu saw which one he stepped on, stepped on the other one and got it right.”

Mallory: “It came down to luck with that, but look how bad Dee did in that competition.”
Yash: “I think Dee’s a bad competitor. Knock the f— on wood, but I think she’s a bad competitor.”

Mallory: “I agree. And I didn’t watch her on Survivor, but I don’t know if you were — when we were doing that podcast out there, and we were talking about a bitter jury, and Dee said that thing about, well, sometimes on the show they don’t show the relationships that people make with people, and that’s why people think it’s a bitter jury, but it’s more about relationships as part of the game.”
Mallory: “That, in my head, I was like, oh — you didn’t win competitions. Because you would never say that if you did. Because she won Survivor and people were probably being like, why did this girl win, she didn’t win anything — which I have no idea. But that’s where my head went. Like, oh, so people probably thought you had a bitter jury.”
Yash: “Yeah, if someone’s saying that, it’s like she’s defending her cause. Because, yeah, I don’t think she’s good at comps.”
Mallory: “Doesn’t seem like it.”

Yash: “Even in here, socially, who does she have? Angela, Devens, maybe Barrett.”
Mallory: “I think her and Barrett are definitely friends, but Barrett’s smart. And if it came between the entire house—”
Yash: “He would know. Barrett would know who actually rocks with him and who doesn’t.”

Yash: “Drew, I’m like, don’t be fooled, bro. Dee told me she would put you up. This was three days ago, four days ago.”
Yash: “Now that we know Devens and Dee are clearly in lockstep, does that mean Devens also would put you up?”
Yash: “I would be shocked if Dee has an opinion that Devens doesn’t have. He used the f—ing Diamond Power of Veto on her.”

Mallory: “Do you think Dee bribed him?”
Yash: “I don’t know what the bribe can do and what it can’t do.”
Mallory: “I think you can just bribe someone to do something.”
Yash: “I don’t think so.”
Mallory: “You don’t?”
Yash: “Actually, s—, it could be.”
Mallory: “I mean, that’s what a bribe is. You pay someone to do something.”

Yash: “She acted so surprised.”
Mallory: “I was sitting there thinking, imagine if somebody used their Diamond Power on me. I’d be like, holy s—, thank you so much. She looked surprised.”
Yash: “But she wasn’t. She was kind of fired up, like she knew.”
Mallory: “That’s what Kamu brought up to me.”

Yash: “I didn’t realize the bribe worked like that. I thought it was strictly for noms.”
Mallory: “I don’t know. I’m going to have to think about it. But I don’t think it’s strictly for noms.”

Yash: “And I do not want to tell Drew or [second name unclear]. Because I think they might be the loose ones in that room that day. I don’t want to tell them about it.”
Yash: “Because also, I think if they told Dee, we know Dee’s going to lie. She’s, at this point, such a confirmed liar. That is what she does. So I know if we ask her, she’ll say no.”
Mallory: “She definitely has a power. Like, duh. And she clearly wasn’t able to use it to get herself off the block.”
Yash: “Do you think any one of us would do it? I know you wouldn’t. No, I don’t think so.”

Yash: “That’s why I’m like, bro, go f—ing home, bro. Go home. You won a million.”
Mallory: “A million dollars. I’m like, what the f—, bro?”
Yash: “That is so much money. That is so much money.”
Mallory: “And I’m assuming she won it without winning challenges.”
Yash: “I think so. I heard she got carried to the end by her alliance, too.”
Mallory: “And that’s probably why she said that thing about a bitter jury. As soon as she said that, I was like, hmm.”

Yash: “Early on with Devens and Dee, someone said they played a very loyal game the whole time. And I think that kind of spread the wrong narrative, because people then were willing to trust them.”
Yash: “Whereas in this game — I’m sure they’re loyal to each other.”
Mallory: “Exactly.”
Yash: “But outside of that, they’ve shown nothing of loyalty.”

Mallory: “More than the average person.”
Yash: “More than the average person. Each have shown big moments of disloyalty. So I’m like, it is just the two of y’all rocking and rolling.”

Yash: “I guess there is a world where maybe we do just get out Kamu or Haley and keep Angela. But a part of me, I do like to think of things long-term. I’m nervous short-term.”
Yash: “Because if Kamu or Haley go, that’s one less person that would keep me safe to keep one person who would put me up: Angela.”
Mallory: “Yeah, that is a good point.”

Yash: “I know Kamu and Haley wouldn’t put you up for the next three, four weeks. I would be shocked if they did it.”
Mallory: “I’m going to be completely honest. Once the Icons are gone—”
Yash: “You think it’s you.”
Mallory: “Yeah. I think I would go after Kamu and Haley. And they probably know that. Because I’m obviously close with Barrett and Melody. I’m close with you. I’m close with Taylor.”

Mallory: “Once the Icons are gone, Haley and Kamu are here with Barrett, Melody, Drew, Taylor, Lala. Who wins every time?”
Yash: “They’re going to dog-walk them.”
Yash: “The Icons aren’t actually a threat. I think I just look at them as more of a threat now because I know their target is on me now.”
Yash: “But any of us win next week, three noms are already done. One of us has to win, bro. Has to win.”

Yash: “Devens also wants to talk. I’m just going to hear what he has to say. What’s the logic there? I’d love to hear it.”
Mallory: “It’s probably the same thing with Rome. I don’t understand Devens because he blew up Rome’s game so early. He could have rocked with Rome, but he must just feel comfortable enough in his position that he doesn’t need other people.”
Mallory: “Rome’s charismatic, clearly a good physical competitor. Let’s take him now. And then he’s like, Kamu’s charismatic, good physical competitor. Let’s get him out now.”

Mallory: “One of the only people that could probably beat Kamu in a Blockbuster is Haley.”
Yash: “I don’t even know the next time we’re gonna have the two of them in a Blockbuster.”
Mallory: “Because I think between Haley and Angela, if Kamu wins, I don’t think the votes are going to be there to keep Haley.”

Mallory: “I do see the benefit of keeping her 100%. But people are going to have a hard time trusting her. Lala, I’m sure, wants Haley out. Haley put up Taylor and Melody.”
Yash: “I know. That’s the tough part.”

Yash: “I don’t even want to ask y’all to do that. Because if I take myself out of the situation and I was looking at this, I’d be like, you can’t really ask that.”
Yash: “Even if I believe it to be true that she wouldn’t put us up, you can’t ask three people who got put up by her to now keep her. And then Lala, who wasn’t put up by her, they have beef.”
Yash: “That would not be fair of me to ask the people I love.”

Mallory: “And I think it makes Kamu a lot more scary if he has Haley as a safety net. If Haley was gone, he would have no trust.”
Yash: “So low-key, best case is just Kamu wins and we get out Haley then.”
Mallory: “I agree.”

Yash: “But if Haley wins it, I would still love to see Kamu stay. And I know that’s tough.”
Mallory: “If that’s what you want, I think people would respect it because you kept us safe. But I do definitely think, take away how much we like Kamu—”
Yash: “He’s a threat.”
Mallory: “Big-time threat. So I do think it’s definitely something we take time and think about.”
Yash: “Yeah, I’m gonna.”

Yash: “Threats-wise, it just makes me nervous getting out threats this early in the game. Because it just bumps us up. It bumps us up the pecking order.”
Mallory: “If the Icons win.”
Yash: “Yeah, that’s true. If they win.”

Mallory: “Also, like — let’s just say, I don’t know, Drew wins next week. If Angela’s gone, two Icons are the nominees. Who’s the third nominee? I guess Kamu slash Haley.”
Yash: “It’d be Haley, for sure.”
Mallory: “Yeah, that’s true. That’s a good point.”

Yash: “I think keeping them benefits us for the next three to four weeks. And I think after that we can still figure it out, because we will still be a unified front. Our group will still be a unified group.”
Yash: “There’s no way for Kamu and Haley to penetrate our seven. We rock too deep.”

Yash: “It’d be dumb for us to assume we can always win and always have the power. The reality of this game is that people will get picked off.”
Yash: “Eventually when one of us wins and takes the shot at them, one of them will go home. Because once it gets two noms, even if one wins veto, the other one — we have the numbers.”
Mallory: “It didn’t get down to two noms until late into the game last season, though.”
Yash: “How late?”
Mallory: “I want to say final seven. It could have been final eight.”

Yash: “I think there’s a lot of benefit in keeping them now, short-term. And again, I don’t think I’m going to ask, if Kamu wins, keep Haley safe.”
Yash: “Even though I think it’s a benefit, I value our relationships more than I value what I think is best.”
Mallory: “I think people would have a hard time seeing that side. I think people have too much personal vendetta.”
Yash: “Which is totally valid. We were under their rule for like 28 days. F— that.”

Yash: “But if she wins, I do want to keep Kamu. If she wins, I think we just have to accept kind of a bad beat. She’s a beast for that.”
Yash: “Keep Kamu because he’s a shield for us and he’s a sword for us, which is so rare.”

Mallory: “But then who’s gonna take the shot at Kamu eventually?”
Yash: “I think we do it when the time comes. And also, our people can do it. Lala would not give a f—. Melody would do it too. Taylor. I think Barrett.”
Yash: “Barrett’s a smart guy too. He’s like a silent killer himself. He’s been getting second a lot.”

Yash: “Getting Kamu and Haley out does not scare me. What scares me more than having to get them out is that if they’re gone, then we become targets.”
Mallory: “But at least for right now, if one of the Icons wins, let’s just say Kamu goes, an Icon wins, they put up you, me, Haley — I think we have numbers to get out Haley.”
Yash: “Yeah. I see what you’re saying.”

Yash: “It would only really be a problem if all three are people. But that’s the logic in which I’m saying we should keep them both.”

12:32 PM — Mallory and Melody (Storage Room)

The recording picks up part-way into the conversation.

Melody: “Have you talked to him at all about it?”
Mallory: “Yeah, I was talking to him upstairs about it.”
Melody: “Okay.”
Mallory: “He said he wants to keep Kamu, and I was like, you know, I think people are going to respect what you want.”

Mallory: “He’s somehow gotten every HOH to trust him and avoided the block this whole time. And he was like, that’s a good point.”
Mallory: “And I was like, him and Haley together — once the Icons are gone I think it’s gonna be hard. I think a lot of us can beat the Icons. I’m less confident, at least myself, about keeping Kamu.”

“He’s somehow gotten every HOH to trust him and avoided the block this whole time.”

— Mallory, on Kamu

Mallory: “And I was like, that’s true, but also, people trust you, people rock with you — you would have the vote to stay. And he was like, that’s a good point, too.”
Mallory: “So he was like, I do want Kamu to stay, but he said he’s gonna think about it, basically. And he seems like he really will.”

Mallory: “He wants to tell you too, but he told me about Dee’s power.”
Mallory: “I’m hoping he comes around to it. He’s on board with getting out Haley.”
Mallory: “He was like, I don’t even want to ask people to do that, to vote to keep Haley.”
Mallory: “I was like, I trust Haley a lot more if Kamu’s not here. He was like, I agree.”

Mallory: “He told me that he wanted to talk to both of us. He wants to tell us about Dee’s power.”
Melody: “Yeah, but like what? What does he think Dee’s power is?”
Mallory: “He knows what her power is.”
Melody: “Oh, for real?”
Mallory: “Yeah.”
Melody: “How?”
Mallory: “Do you want me to tell you or do you want him to tell you? Because he’s going to just tell you.”

Melody: “Wait, let’s go up there.”
Mallory: “Okay.”

The feed cuts. Half a minute later the two of them are heading up to the HOH room.

Melody: “I’ve been in my gym jams all day.”
Mallory: “Same, I don’t think I’m gonna change.”
Melody: “Hey, can we come in?”
Melody: “Damn, that looks good as f—, bro.”

1:25PM — Mallory, Melody and Yash (HOH)

Mallory and Melody come up to the HOH room. After several minutes of food and house chatter, Yash gets to what he wanted to tell them.

Yash: “So I was telling Mallory about my conversation with Dee.”
Mallory: “Like before noms?”
Yash: “Before noms, yeah.”
Yash: “The first thing she said was, like, she’s putting up Haley and Drew. And I was like, all right. Noted.”

Yash: “Then she started to get the vibe that she was going up. So she came back up. And I had wanted her to come back up, because I’m going to tell her, like, hey, I’m considering you.”
Yash: “She started it by saying, hey, I have a feeling I’m going up. And I was like, yeah, I’m definitely considering it.”

Yash: “And then she mentioned how she knew I was in the room during that conversation where people mentioned us going after the Icons.”
Mallory: “Wait, what?”
Yash: “She knew about that.”
Mallory: “How did she know?”
Yash: “That’s what I’m saying.”

Yash: “To me, it wasn’t surprising she knew we were going after them, because, like, whatever. But she knew that we all were in the room during that conversation.”
Melody: “Wait, who the f—?”
Melody: “Well, I guess she could have just pieced together that we were all up here.”
Yash: “But she knew, like, the details of it. She knew we were having that conversation.”

Yash: “How the f— does she know that?”
Yash: “My thing is, I’m not f—ing telling Lala. None of us should tell Lala, because she will just blow it up. We don’t need Lala knowing. She’s one of those, we keep her in the dark, she rocks with us.”

Yash: “Taylor, I know it’s not Taylor.”
Melody: “No, I know it’s not Taylor. We know it’s not Taylor.”
Yash: “That’s why I wanted to talk to you two, because I’m willing to bet it’s not you two.”
Melody: “No, it’s definitely not us.”

Yash: “It’s just so crazy because I don’t see the benefit of telling her. Literally at all. It’s not like she’s HOH or something. There’s no social gain from that.”
Yash: “That’s throwing all of us under the bus to get a little bit of trust from someone that can’t even win s—.”
Melody: “Right.”
Yash: “That part annoyed the f— out of me.”

Then Yash gets to the other part of his conversation with Dee.

Yash: “And then the conversation goes on, and she’s like, so I like money. I know you like money.”
Yash: “So I start smiling. I’m like, yeah, I like money.”
Melody: “Where the f— is she going with this?”
Mallory: “I’m scared.”
Yash: “She’s like, so I have the power.”

“Would you keep me and Angela safe for the week, for $5,000?”
“In my head, I’m like, f— no.”

— Yash, recounting Dee’s offer

Yash: “She’s like, would you keep me and Angela safe for the week, for $5,000? In my head, I’m like, f— no.”
Melody: “So that’s her power?”
Mallory: “It’s the BB Bribe.”
Melody: “It’s a bribe.”
Yash: “I didn’t know this at the time, but I learned it’s a bribe.”

Yash: “And then she suggested you two to go up.”
Yash: “So in my head, I’m immediately like, no. But I have to say it in a way like, maybe that’s something worth considering. In my head, I’m like, f— no.”
Yash: “Then I tell her no. I’m like, that’s not worth two people going up instead of you guys.”

Yash: “Then she’s like, okay, screw Angela. Just me. Keep me safe, $5,000.”
Yash: “In my head I’m still like, no. I’m not going against the people I love for $5,000. It’s a lot of money, yes, but to go against what I believe in and the people I love, I’m not doing that.”
Melody: “That would just put you in a bad position in the house.”
Yash: “Even strategically, yeah. It’s not a good move.”

Yash: “I’m not taking your f—ing bribe. It’s my people.”
Mallory: “Yeah.”

Yash: “Good to know she has a power. I also thought, wow, kind of a useless power.”
Melody: “I know.”
Mallory: “Compared to the Diamond Veto.”
Yash: “Which I was like, okay, so now good to know there’s, like, s—ty powers circulating.”

Yash: “But here’s what made me sus. In the morning she told me she’d put up Haley and Drew. Later that day, she said you two.”
Yash: “But then a part of me was like, why did she not mention Barrett?”
Melody: “Right.”

Yash: “After OTEV, that’s why I was asking you guys what you think about it. Because I was a little bit sussed by that. She omitted Barrett.”
Yash: “Everyone knows you four are a friend group. So if you’re going after the friend group, why would you not include him?”
Melody: “Include him.”
Yash: “Include him.”

Yash: “And then after OTEV, he showed her the first one. I was like, hmm. What’s going on here?”
Yash: “I don’t think it’s guaranteed. I’m gonna look at the facts and interpret it how I want to interpret it. And I trust you two to not say anything. I know you guys would not f—ing tell the ops.”

Barrett comes into the HOH room while the three are talking. Yash shifts the conversation to the week’s vote.

Yash: “I was just talking about the options now. Hearing it out. Because it is kind of an interesting predicament now that Kamu’s up.”
Barrett: “Oh, for sure.”
Yash: “Initially, I was like, I do want to keep Kamu safe. But then there is the element of, like, do we get out a threat if a threat is up?”

Mallory: “What’s good about this is if Kamu wins Blockbuster, the only blood is on Devens’ hands.”
Melody: “Yeah.”
Mallory: “Which is great.”
Yash: “Which is great.”

Mallory: “And I feel like if Kamu doesn’t win Blockbuster, I see the benefit of keeping him, but I also see this as kind of like a once-in-a-game chance to get him out without anyone having to be bold enough to take the risk to put him up.”
Yash: “Yeah.”
Mallory: “I also agree with that.”

Melody: “My thing is, he is someone who I feel like would help us go after the Icons, but I also feel like we could beat the Icons.”
Yash: “Yeah.”
Melody: “It does just scare me if Kamu is here, in the case too that Haley wins the Blockbuster. I feel like they’re always going to choose each other.”

Melody: “They may work with us, which I think is cool. But, like, do you know what I mean? What if they go back to the Icons?”
Yash: “That’s why I’m wondering what you guys all think about that. Because when I talk to Kamu, he seems very done with Haley.”

Yash: “Ever since we were on the wrong side of the vote together, he was like, f— these people. And then he got the veto and chose not to use it to really cement that.”
Melody: “Yes.”

Yash: “The way I look at keeping Kamu is he helps us short-term. For the next two to four weeks, I know he would not put us up, and we know he would go for them.”
Yash: “Then when they are gone, we have our seven, and he would, no matter what, be on the outskirts of that. None of us are going to choose to keep him safe over any one of us.”

Yash: “If we can use him to our short-term benefit, might as well, because he’s a sword and a shield.”
Yash: “It’s a rare opportunity that he’s a sword and a shield going after the same people we’re going for, and a very low percent chance of him actually infiltrating our confidence in each other.”

“If we can use him to our short-term benefit, might as well, because he’s a sword and a shield.”

— Yash, on keeping Kamu

Barrett: “I would just need to know who he’s going after if he were to get in power. He’s just the biggest question mark to me in terms of that. But I see what you mean.”

Yash: “The only thing I worry about is, down the line, trying to beat him in a competition. Will we actually be able to?”
Melody: “Yeah, that’s what worries me too.”

Mallory: “Intuition-wise, I say if Kamu is on the block, we take the opportunity.”
Mallory: “I don’t even think it would be a smart move for any of us in the foreseeable future to put Kamu up, just because he is such a good competitor and he has a chance of coming off.”
Mallory: “I think if Haley beats him in the Blockbuster, that’s because Haley’s one of the only people that can do it. Or you.”

Melody: “But we don’t want you sitting up there.”
Yash: “Yeah.”

Can’t afford an “a” CBS?

Yash: “That could be the benefit of keeping Kamu. Whenever we’re going for our targets, we say, Kamu, you’re our guy. Go out there and fight for us. Get the veto.”
Yash: “Because I view him, we all would view him in this case, as expendable.”

Yash: “We’ll put him up to fight, and if he can’t fight and he doesn’t do it and he goes, it’s okay. Whereas I would not want me or Mallory to have that responsibility.”
Yash: “For him, if his role for us is that, it makes our hands less bloody. You’re with us, you’re our fighter, go fight.”

Yash: “And I feel that way about Haley too. She’s going to be a revolving door. If she wins a Blockbuster, revolving door. We’ll just throw her back up.”
Yash: “Based on the conversations I’ve had with her, she seems like she just knows that that’s her game now.”
Melody: “Yeah, she was telling me that too.”

Yash: “Kamu, there’s pros and cons for each side. Because another thing that makes me nervous is that if he goes, we get scooted up the list in terms of competition threats. And the more threats that go, you don’t want to set the precedent of just going after competition threats.”
Mallory: “But that’s if the Icons win.”
Yash: “That’s true too.”

Yash: “I think we can beat all of them. But I know he can. We know he can.”
Mallory: “I mean, I almost know that we can too.”
Yash: “We still would have like seven of us versus the three of them.”

Mallory: “I feel like we’ve beat the Icons in almost everything.”
Yash: “Everything since Week 2.”

Mallory: “If it was even Dee or Devens up there, I would see it more. But the fact that it’s Angela, I don’t see Angela winning one thing for the rest of the season. Definitely not a Blockbuster.”

Yash: “The only case I can see for having Angela go home is purely numbers. We know Dee and Devens aren’t really a threat, but their threat to me is numbers.”
Yash: “The last two weeks, they’ve tried to flip the vote last minute. And we’re getting to the point now where the numbers actually do matter.”

Yash: “Next week you’re only going to need four.”
Mallory: “Four to tie.”
Yash: “Four to tie. And if they have three, they clearly are capable of last-minute flips.”

Yash: “I think if we get Angela out, it puts Dee and Devens on an island. It just puts them completely, just them there.”
Melody: “Yeah.”
Yash: “That’s the only case I can make for Angela. I don’t want to see her go, but she’s with them. Clear as day now.”

Yash: “After yesterday, we saw it. They have something. They have something. If we get her out, it at least isolates Dee and Devens, where it’s really just the two of them doing whatever they do.”

Yash: “Kamu and Haley, good short-term, but long-term, liability.”
Melody: “I agree.”
Yash: “Definitely.”
Mallory: “I’m way less confident beating them compared to the Icons.”
Yash: “Comparatively, 1,000%. It’s night and day.”

Yash: “But I still think we can beat them.”
Mallory: “But see, if Kamu wasn’t there, one of us would have won.”
Yash: “Great point. Great point.”
Yash: “And if Haley wasn’t there, one of us would have won that too.”

Mallory: “One of them being gone makes me trust the other one exponentially more. Because I’m scared of them just teaming back up.”
Melody: “Because then they’re free agents.”
Mallory: “I agree I think they have other targets that aren’t us, but for now.”

Melody: “With me, Kamu did still put up Mallory and was actively trying to get her out of the house. She was the target.”
Melody: “And I was the target actively for Haley’s HOH. That’s just my thing. That’s my personal game.”

Yash: “With Haley, I would never sit here and tell our people to keep Haley. At the end of the day, I value my relationships with you guys ten times more than I believe Haley is good for us.”
Yash: “That’s one of those, if it happens, it happens. I trust y’all on that. But if she wins it, I don’t want to see Kamu go. Because I feel like he would fight for us for a while. For a good three weeks.”

Yash: “If one of those three wins, we know he’s filling the seat. We know that for a fact.”
Melody: “That’s true.”
Yash: “Which is one less seat for us to fill.”

Yash: “He is a free seat that’s going to get filled every time. Even for us, we can put him up and say, Kamu, you’ve been with us, keep being with us. Go in there and win the veto.”

Mallory: “See, I don’t know how long that would last, though. Because if the Icons aren’t winning and we’re winning and putting him up and he wins—”
Yash: “But who would he ever have?”
Mallory: “What do you mean?”
Yash: “If we put him up and he’s upset by that, who would he have? The Icons don’t like him.”

Melody: “He would have Haley.”
Yash: “Yeah, but there’s only one person. And she would be up with him.”

Yash: “Let’s just say we target Devens. We put up Kamu. Say, Kamu, he did you wrong. Go fight now. We’re going to put the ball in your court. Go fight for it.”
Yash: “And then we put up Haley too. She knows she’s going up every week. She’s accepted that as her reality.”

Yash: “That’s like the least bloody noms ever. Kamu and Haley are both free noms the way I look at it.”
Melody: “Yeah, that’s a good point.”

Mallory: “Final eight people, I would rather see Angela there than Kamu, honestly.”
Yash: “Yeah. I agree too, because it blows that it’s Angela. That’s the Icon sitting there. It feels like a wasted one.”

“The only chance we’ll have without anyone having to take that risk. That won’t happen again for the rest of the game.”

— Mallory, on evicting Kamu

Mallory: “Especially on paper, looking from the outside, Kamu versus Angela…”
Yash: “Yeah.”
Mallory: “This is the only chance we’ll have without anyone having to take that risk. That won’t happen again for the rest of the game.”
Yash: “Yeah, there will always be some element of risk from here on out to put him up.”

Yash: “My thing with Angela is she’s purely a utility piece. If we vote her out, it’s just to neutralize.”
Mallory: “I feel like the Icons’ chance of winning stays the same.”
Yash: “Yeah. But it does affect how safe they are in the game. Numbers-wise.”

Barrett: “Are you convinced that Kamu and Haley are not a thing at all?”
Melody: “I’m not convinced of that at all. I see them talking game together all the time.”
Mallory: “It would be silly for them to not still have it. They both have us, but they have to know they’re on the outside.”

Yash: “It’s naive of us to think that they would fully dead it after whatever.”
Melody: “Do I believe that he obviously showed that he’s willing to do stuff like that? Yes.”

The conversation returns to why Yash believes Kamu really did break from his old group.

Yash: “He pretty much was like, he felt so burned that their alliance turned against him that he was like, f— them, bro.”
Yash: “He was like, I had a feeling that I was with the wrong group, and then they turned on me. I did what our plan and what the HOH wanted. I acted out of loyalty there, and I got burned.”

Yash: “I told him, if that’s the case, you have your work cut out for you. It’s not like people don’t think you’re with them just because you say you’re done being with them.”
Yash: “Then he won the veto two or three days later and chose not to use it.”
Melody: “No, that’s a good point.”

Yash: “He did have his chance to prove it. And he did prove it. If Haley was up, she was going home. So he was pretty much saying, I don’t care who goes home out of the two of y’all.”

Yash: “Mallory brought up a good point earlier. He is really good at gaining trust.”
Yash: “I think he’s played a very honest game, which is why I trust him. But he is really good at gaining trust.”
Melody: “Yeah, I completely agree.”

Yash: “In this game, yes, you’ve got to think long-term. You have to. But you’ve also got to think short-term a little bit.”
Yash: “If we have a use case for him even for four weeks, four weeks is a long time to have someone useful.”

Yash: “Especially because I know he would put the three of them up. Dee lies, which she admitted to lying. And then Devens saved her and put him up.”
Yash: “There’s clearly something there that I don’t understand fully, but to me it confirms he’s not with them. Not with them at all.”

Yash: “But at the same time, two people competing that we’re not super confident in is a risk.”
Melody: “Yeah. It is just hard. It’s really f—ing hard.”

Yash: “That’s why I hope Kamu wins and Haley goes. That way, he has no choice but to rock with us.”
Melody: “That’s so true.”
Yash: “If Haley’s gone, at that point, if he has any affiliation with the Icons, good to know your word is actually not—”
Melody: “Right, and then boom, you’re done.”
Yash: “We know what we need to know about you.”

Yash: “It forces him to make a decision.”
Melody: “And a real, real, real decision.”

Yash: “If Haley wins Blockbuster, Kamu goes home. Then all three Icons are still here.”
Melody: “But they’re not that great.”
Yash: “But then Haley is still kind of a sword and shield, right?”
Melody: “Yes. Because she’s always going to go up. She is decent at comps. I know she doesn’t f— with Dee.”

Mallory: “I think she’d go after the Icons and Lala.”
Yash: “And again, Icons and Lala is fine because it’s only one of us that’s up there. So we would have the numbers to save her.”

Yash: “If Kamu’s out, yeah, it’s a strong competitor out. The one thing that really scares me, though, is the precedent of just getting the competitive dudes out. Because I can’t help but feel like if he goes, I’m next in some way.”
Mallory: “People would want you here because they trust you.”
Melody: “You might be next, but you would have the numbers though. And you are good at competing.”

Yash: “I think you’re right. I think that is the main difference. The numbers.”
Yash: “Genuinely, a win for me is a win for us. Which is very different than Kamu’s situation and Haley’s situation. A win for them is a f—ing question mark. We don’t actually know what that means.”

They turn back to the Icons and the vote flips that have made Yash distrust Dee.

Yash: “The three Icons, it does just make me a little nervous. We know they have something. And we know it’s deeper than we’re led to believe.”
Yash: “Dee and Devens downplayed the f— out of their relationship. And then he used the Diamond Power of Veto on her.”

Yash: “I think Dee and Angela are tight.”
Mallory: “Definitely.”
Yash: “I always see them whispering. I always see them talking.”
Mallory: “I think the three of them, they got each other.”
Yash: “Even though Angela’s harmless, you know she’s always gonna rock with them.”

Yash: “A part of me is like, it’s worth fracturing that. We fractured the other three when Kamu switched.”
Yash: “They fractured themselves, honestly, because even before Lala won it, they f—ing flipped on each other during the vote.”

Yash: “That’s another thing that scares me. They flipped the vote that day, and then they tried to do it again last week.”
Yash: “Dee and Devens tried to flip the vote to keep Haley. Actively.”

Yash: “Dee was very emotional about it. I could see it in her eyes. She was about to cry the whole morning about keeping Haley.”
Yash: “Then the next morning, Friday morning, she’s the first conversation I have, and she sits there and says, I’d go after Haley.”

Melody: “That doesn’t even make sense, bro.”
Yash: “The whole f—ing plan for that vote was if Haley’s up, take her out. And then you were saying if Haley’s there, keep her. And now 12 hours later you’re saying put her up? Make it make sense.”

Yash: “That type of inconsistency, it’s like, what are you doing? Do you even know what you’re doing? Because it makes no sense.”
Melody: “Yeah, what the hell was up with that?”

Yash: “Flipping the vote day-of is like some Survivor s—. That s— be pissing me off. It was an hour before.”
Yash: “No, it pissed me off. I’m like, why? Why?”

Melody: “I literally had to walk out of the room because I was like, I know what the f— I’m doing. I’m not listening to this bulls—.”

Yash: “That’s two confirmed times now she’s been lying. One about the vote to her own alliance.”
Yash: “Angela admitted it was her. And then Dee admitted to me later that it was her. But she’s like, I’m going to keep lying about it.”
Melody: “But, like, why? I just don’t get it.”

Yash: “Personal stuff aside, you do what you want to do. But game-wise, that is just weird.”
Melody: “I agree.”

Yash: “Early on with Devens and Dee, someone said they played a very loyal game the whole time. And I think that spread the wrong narrative, because people then were willing to trust them.”
Yash: “I’m sure they’re loyal to each other.”
Mallory: “Exactly.”
Yash: “But outside of that, they’ve shown nothing of loyalty.”

BB28 Alliances

On both boards

Drew

At the hot tub he tells Dee he sees their five going deep. Fifty minutes later he is upstairs letting Yash and Taylor count him into their plans and reporting Dee’s movements to the HOH. He isn’t a clean member of either side so much as the join between them. His own words: “I don’t even think we’re the middlemen anymore. I think we’re the connector.”

Mosh Pit — also called the BOM

Drew · Barrett · Melody · Mallory · Dee · Devens · Angela

Seven people, and the entire opposing bloc in one name. It is FAP and the Crossovers joined together, which is why Drew keeps listing both. Drew and Barrett spent fifteen minutes in the backyard at 1:04 AM trying to name it — Bra Nation and Motley Crue went down before they landed on “the BOM,” short for Band of Misfits, best said in a French accent. Devens, meanwhile, calls it the Mosh Pit on camera the next morning. Two members, two names, and nobody has settled it. Three of the seven are the Icons, two of whom were on the block this week.

FAP — half of the Mosh Pit

Drew · Barrett · Melody · Mallory

Named as a joke, and the joke is the point — they’ve kicked around “For The American People” as the version that could survive an edit. Drew on where it sits now: “It’s just so much better now that FAP is rocking with them.” Them being the Icons.

The Crossovers — the other half

Drew · Barrett · Dee · Devens · Angela

Formed day two or three and never once said out loud to anybody outside it. Barrett: “I don’t think anybody knows about the crossover.” Drew: “I see a world where it’s us five.”

The HOH side

Yash · Kamu · Taylor · Haley · Drew

Never formally named, but it’s the side holding the room. Yash campaigned hard to keep Haley — “This is a rare opportunity where we can get someone with us where if they win, we win” — and Taylor now says the group out loud: “me, you, Haley, Kamu, Drew.” Haley is on the block and has no idea she’s in it.

The Icons

Dee · Devens · Angela

Dee came off the block by Devens’ hand, Angela is still on it, and Devens has spent his power. Taylor gave the reason the trio is being hunted — “We can’t let the Icons take our season” — while exempting one of them: “Angela don’t count in it.” Drew and Barrett are quietly working to keep all three.

Fractured — Bermuda Triangle

Yash · Kamu · Devens

Named by Devens on Friday, and Yash called it the strongest thing he had. Two days later Dee is asking how Kamu could work with two people since day one and turn on them, and says he’s “getting all up in Yash’s head.” Devens has now put one of the other two on the block.

Broken — Wolf Pack

Yash · Kamu · Devens · Dee

Not a functioning four any more. Dee was the HOH’s target and knew exactly where she stood — “I don’t give a f— who Yash says is his target.” Historical now, but it explains the grudges.

Split — The Bad Boys

Yash · Drew · Kamu · Devens · Barrett

All five men, formed at 3:30 Friday morning and unspoken by design. It did not survive the week. Drew and Barrett are building toward the Icons while Yash and Kamu work the other direction, and Yash’s read on one of the other five is not fraternal: “Barrett’s the best pawn we have.”

Lala & Taylor

Lala · Taylor

Taylor has moved. She spent the overnight in the HOH room running vote math with Yash on keeping Haley, and Barrett recounts three separate alliances she has tried to start with him — one of them named two days before she voted that person out.

Absorbed — Melody & Mallory

Melody · Mallory

Still tight, still close to Barrett, and now inside FAP and counted into the Mosh Pit. Melody is also the leak — she is the one who told Drew that Dee claimed to have had a power and used it.

The BB Time Capsule is a multi-week America’s Vote twist running Weeks 2 through 7. Each week America votes one houseguest into the capsule, that houseguest plays alone, and they come out with either a power or a punishment. One trip each — once you’ve been in, you’re out of the pool.

Week 2

Angela. Lost. Spent the week in the Hard-Boiled Detective costume.

Week 3

Devens. Won the Diamond Power of Veto — pull a nominee off the block and name the replacement yourself, with the HOH cut out of the decision. Good for six weeks. Used in Week 6 to save Dee and nominate Kamu. Spent.

Week 4

Dee. Won the BB Bribe. $5,000 offered to one houseguest in exchange for an action that helps her game. Valid to the end of the season, and the target can turn it down. She has tried to spend it once: before the Week 6 nominations she asked Yash to keep her and Angela safe for the week for the $5,000. He said no. She dropped Angela and asked again for just herself. He said no again. The money is still in her hands.

Week 5

Mallory. Lost. Received the Adam and Eve punishment and picked Melody to serve it alongside her — Melody was never in the capsule herself. The two were tethered together in fig-leaf costumes for 48 hours.

Week 6

Melody. Lost. Received Lady of the Latrine, making her the house bathroom attendant. She has to unlock the bathroom, take each houseguest’s request, announce their trip to the porcelain throne, and lock up again afterward. Nobody is allowed to assist her.

Week 7 — still to come

To be voted. The last trip of the twist. Angela, Devens, Dee, Mallory and Melody have each had their one turn and are out of the pool.

Where it stands: Five of the six trips are done, with one vote left. Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto is spent. Dee’s BB Bribe is still live but no longer secret — Kamu, Mallory, Melody and Yash have all now discussed it openly, and Dee told Kamu and Yash about it herself. Kamu believes Dee paid Devens the $5,000 to use the Diamond Power of Veto on her; there is nothing behind that but the timing, and Kamu says as much himself.

She sucks though. I don’t know who is worse, Mallory or Melody. There is no game there. They both don’t seem to want to work with anyone and just tag along with Drew (who is not with them) and Barrett (who is with Dee).

bb4eva

I disagree. She doesn’t suck. She just doesn’t know that both Barrett & Drew are 2 faced lying traitors who totally rock with the icons and only pretend to rock with the M&M girls.
Barrett, Drew & the icons are my 5 targets, in no particular order.

bb4eva

Me too. Mallory, then Yash.

GeeGee

Melody and Mallory or as I call them dumb and dumber just found out Drew and Barrett have been working with the “icons” this whole season
There are still debating whether to keep Kamu because he put Mallory on the block based on info from Lyric and Drew that Mallory would come after him. They Finally came to the conclusion that they might be at the bottom of the new alliance. Best line from the convo was Melody said she probably won’t try to win the next HOH.

Steveo

If they don’t both wake up and realize where they are and what time it is, they can both go home sooner rather than later. Why would you not try to win HOH?

bb4eva

I don’t know, but Drew’s been trying NOT to win HOH all season because it would force him to choose a side & he prefers playing both sides right down the middle. And, so far it’s been working for him.

A bunch of weirdo's

That was the best line. I think my mouth was open for 10 minutes. I kind of hope Grod is involved with this horrible game play. These people have to be actors!!!!

bb4eva

They aren’t that talented.

The middle position so coveted by all has been delivered to the giggles.
Can they maintain that position better than every pair that has held it before them?
Drew and Barrett still think they are middle. They stopped being middle after the Toolshed died.
For about a day Yash and Taylor were in the middle. They… stopped maintaining out of a sense of comfort and the moment passed them by.
For one week Dee and Devens were middle. They had alliancing everywhere. Then Dee tried to flip another vote and the dpov was used.

So what has been the catalyst? Dee’s yapflappin to Kamu and then to Yash. Devens and Dee did not cover their tracks when they targeted Kamu. Heck, Devens doesn’t even know Dee has shared more of her game in one hour with Kamu than she has with Devens. So now their information is being outed… and twisted by Kamu and Yash.
Angela outing that Drew and Barrett have been with the Stunts for a while during the creation of the Mosh def stuck to both Mal/Mel.

Effects:
Drew and Barrett have been exposed.
The Mosh Pit has been exposed for what it is / was. Numbers for a move that Dee was not going to stay with anyway.

We now know Mallory was never down for the mosh. She already told Angela what the Yash and co but especially Kamu are saying. Dee was there. Dee was being passive agressive subtly.

What one knows but the other doesn’t:
Mallory is wanted by both sides. Melody isn’t actually wanted by either because she hasn’t won a comp.

Actual effect for THIS week:
They will pretend to be on Kamu’s good side if he wins Block buster. Let him think they will keep him.
If he is on the block post blockbuster… he goes. They made their case to Yash (especially Mallory) already.
I thiiink they are still keeping Angela in either case????
They drop the ball and say they want to throw HOH so they can stay in the middle.

Chance they stay in the middle for more than 3 days? I give it about 35%.

A bunch of weirdo's

Yep, they’ll stay in the middle and then go to jury. Lol. Hopefully they’ll gain more followers. Smh

bb4eva

I think Drew and especially Barrett are still squarely in the middle because neither M&M girl truly believes that either traitor is actually a traitor. Dee may have turned on Drew, but Devens is still with them both. Until either Devens or the M&M girls turn on them, they are still riding the wave, hanging ten.

double deuce

Taylor-“Lord just get me to jury. Just two more weeks Lord. Just get me to jury.” Sorry Taylor fans.

A bunch of weirdo's

Because Taylor knows the writing is on the wall. No matter how much she tries to fit in and work with the house; she and La La will not make it far without winning throughout. The only other chance is if Yash and Kamu won throughout. The only chance for any other the four.
No matter what. She knows that already.

Steveo

Their own fault. They never solidified working with anyone. They had an alliance with Angela and Dee but soon turned on that.

Checked some social media. Lurked. I don’t engage in stan dominated spaces.
Got to ask:

Do we consider Taylor a comp beast? I don’t. She’s been bottom of every comp she’s been in except the infamous 5050 comp that is far too easy to make a production manip comp. Other than that… Source: a long rabbit hole saying the Yash / Taylor / Lala / Kamu group were the season comp beasts. Had me side eyeing.

Is La Trice in the weeds mostly because her allies KEEP her in the weeds or would she bein there anyway? As HOH she had fairly good reads on what needed to be done (until Taylor and then Kamu crazyoldwoman’d her into doing what was best for themselves).

Is it too late for Drew and Barrett? Are they cooked now that the Yash side is on to Barrett and the Stunt side doesn’t want Drew? What is the over under on Melody not confronting Drew? They may want to go with FAP now…. but 6 weeks of bus treads over the girls seems to have left some marks.

I looked at feeds for a sec (i’m working right now) and Angela was in HOH with her leg bouncing and foot shaking.
IS ANGELA GETTING CLOSER TO DOING AN ANGELA?

bb4eva

ANGELA IS ALWAYS CLOSE TO DOING AN ANGELA!
