Summary

The veto plays today, and not in the backyard — the yard stayed open all morning, so the comp is built somewhere else, which fits all the era speculation running through the house. And the defining fact of the week belongs to exactly two people: Devens holds the Diamond Power of Veto. At 8:15 last night he told Kamu, “elephant in the room, I have not gotten the advantage.” At 8:30 he was in the storage room giving Dee the full breakdown: at a veto ceremony he can pull anyone off the block, himself included, and name the replacement himself — the HOH cut out entirely. Good for six weeks. He’s even cracked the capsule’s structure, telling Dee the draw isn’t random and there are five powers and five punishments still inside. By 10:40 he was sitting in a bedroom group steering the speculation toward Lyric.

The house, meanwhile, has spent two days pinning the power on Jason. Kamu told Drew Friday night he’d backdoor Jason just to flush whatever he’s holding — “I WILL do it! Dude flush it out!” — and the two of them riffed on the nightmare version, a power that lets its holder pull themselves down and name the replacement. They described the Diamond Power of Veto almost exactly. They just aimed it at the wrong man, minutes after the right one left the room.

The 8 am HOH debrief was Drew unloading his overnight Jason file. If Jason wins HOH he’s going for Dee, Haley and Chuk, with Kamu as the replacement — softened now, because Kamu didn’t nominate him. Jason’s pitching Drew and Barrett as the bottom of the Tool Shed and wants a nine-person flip once the veto plays. Drew copped to feeding Jason “a little bit of bullshit” in return — that Kamu feels like a third wheel behind Haley and Chuk — and to a longer con: he’s been seeding the other side with the idea that Kamu “wants out,” well enough that people repeat it back to him as their own read. Kamu’s review: “that’s perfect.” His ideal for the afternoon is that someone else wins the veto and uses it, forcing the replacement, at which point Jason gets the speech he’s already drafted — you said my name in front of the whole house, I retaliated, and from this point we’re even.

Two hours later in the backyard, Drew was praying for the opposite. With Devens and Yash — the three now calling themselves the Dapper Dans, chaos agents — he pitched rooting for Jason to win the veto and pull Mallory off, so a middle player goes home and nobody’s lines show. Yash still wants Jason to crash out, and the second door is now confirmed in Jason’s own words from the kitchen last night, said with Barrett standing there: “I’m gonna go swinging. I’m gonna try to make as many cracks as possible.” Devens heard Jason’s flip pitch relayed and called it funny — which reads differently once you know the man finding it funny is bulletproof for six weeks.

Jason is in the veto field and says the plan plainly: lock in safety this week, figure out everything else after. Lyric — on the block, in a week whose escape hatch for her is Kamu pulling her down — spent the morning stretching with him and calling him a beast. And Taylor pitched Kamu an alliance last night: her, Kamu, Devens, Mallory and one more from Yash, Drew or Barrett. Kamu named Drew to keep the pair together, and stalled her with a yes-later.

8:10 am Drew and Kamu

Kamu: “Did you sleep, man?”
Drew: “Yeah, it was fine, bro. I just woke up fully hoping someone was going to be in a costume.”
Kamu: “No, somebody’s got power, bro. For sure.”

Kamu: “I still think the plan stays the same, dude. We can’t, like, not play the game.”
Drew: “If we gotta do it — I would be more hesitant though, like if he were to play and win the veto.”

Drew on his late night with Jason: “I had a crazy long conversation with him last night, while you were with Lyric. I was like, cool, this is my chance.”
Drew: “He was like, yeah — like, I win, I’m going to go for Dee. And I’m going to go for Haley and Chuk. Like, a replacement would be, like, Kamu. But he was like, after this week, I feel more trust with Kamu, because he didn’t put him up.”
Drew: “And I kind of made up a little bit of bullshit, going like — I just get this vibe that Kamu, he’s a smart dude, bro. With Haley and Chuk, I think he recognizes that he’s the third wheel, and I think he’d be willing to work with anybody at this point.”
Kamu: “Dude, I appreciate that.”
Drew: “And then he also was saying how he thinks he could flip Devens and Angela. They’re in the minority, and they want to be in the majority. So they’re trying to pull at straws, telling me and Barrett that we’re the bottom of the totem pole of, you know, the Tool Shed. But they don’t know what the Tool Shed’s called — but they know that we were all up there.”
Kamu: “Is that what Jason was saying? About you?”
Drew: “Me and Barrett, yeah. They’re like, oh yeah, you guys are the bottom. You guys should flip.”
Drew: “The good thing for you is they think that Haley and Angela and Dee are, like, the leaders.”
Kamu: “Haley, Angela, Dee. Dude, that makes sense — because those three are always talking to groups of women and then are always with the guys too.”
Drew: “If they think you and me and Barrett, Devens are smaller targets and they’re mine — that’s always a good thing. So I’m just like, cool, man, thanks for letting me know.”

Drew on Lala after the noms: “She was like, I guess some people in this house think I don’t talk enough game. So let’s talk game. Let’s talk right now.”
Kamu: “Dude, I’m happy, because that means Lala took the conversation that we had to heart.”
Drew: “She took it serious. She was, like, emotional. And I was just like, hey, listen, Lala, everyone here loves you. I pretty much reiterated what you said. I was like, let’s be real — Big Brother, there’s no right or wrong way to play. You could choose how you want to play this game and make it work. You making food and everything, that’s your way of playing. But every season’s different. And this season, I don’t know if that’s going to cut it.”
Kamu: “She’s taking criticism really well. It was crazy. Bro, I put her up on the block — afterwards, she came up to the gym. She was like, I want to work with you. And when she left, I was like, did I just put this girl up? She wants to work with me.”
Kamu: “I think it was the little pieces of honesty that I was giving her that made her be like, man, he’s keeping it real with me.”

Drew: “He was saying how after this veto, Jason wants to bring in you, me, Devens, Barrett, and Melody, Lala, Lyric, Mallory, and be like, all right, what’s the plan? We could be majority here. Which is tough, because I don’t want to play the middle too hard like that. Because we’re like, we need to make things official, we need to have a name and everything — and once that happens, literally what you and me were talking about two nights ago, it would be like, oh f***.”
Kamu: “Taylor asked me last night — she goes, do you want to start an alliance with you, me, Devens, Mallory. Which is interesting, because I just put Mallory up and Mallory is gunning after Devens. And Dee — she wants to take out the Survivors. And she goes, I’m trying to figure out somebody else, between Yash, Drew, and Barrett. And I said you, because if we’re in alliances, we’ve got to be together in the alliances.”
Kamu: “I didn’t commit. I was like, hey, talk to me, let me know.”
Drew: “You don’t want to be like, no. It’s always yes, and we’ll talk later. To buy time.”
Kamu: “It’s kind of a good problem. It’s better that everybody wants to work with you than nobody wanting to work with you. However — it’s a good problem to have, but it’s still a problem.”
Drew: “It’s gonna make it way harder to make decisions once you win a power. It’s a conflict of interest for both sides. You end up showing your cards, which means you have to turn on an alliance. I personally don’t want to commit to any more alliances right now. I want to be in the Tool Shed, and cool with people on the outside, but I don’t want to be super committed.”
Kamu: “That’s literally what I’ve been doing. I feel like I need to hang out with the Tool Shed more, because I don’t want them to think that I’m being sucked in by the opposite side.”

On the Time Capsule power.
Drew: “I wonder if we can somehow find out if he has the power or not.”
Kamu: “Bro, I feel like he does.”
Kamu: “I talked to him last night. He’s like, dude — elephant in the room. He goes, I don’t have it. And he’s like, I’ve been trying to figure out who does. And he could be lying. I just don’t think that he is.”
Kamu: “He was telling me he was feeling a little bit in his own head yesterday, because he’s like, dude, I feel like people think that I have it, and I don’t. It’s kind of a weird place to be — if you say you don’t, everyone thinks you’re lying, but if you don’t bring it up, everybody thinks you’re being sus.”
Kamu: “And everybody had DRs yesterday, bro. But Jason’s was abnormally long. When he got called in I was like, all right — and he didn’t come back till nine. And I was like, damn, I really hope it’s him.”

Drew: “Jason told me he had a conversation with Haley, because he’s trying to get closer with Haley. He was saying, how do I get closer to Kamu? And Haley goes, get closer with Drew.”
Kamu: “Haley said it?”
Drew: “Yeah. I wish she didn’t say that. I heard that and I was like, what an interesting play. That’s what I told Jason — I don’t know if I’m as close as you guys think.”
Kamu: “I don’t know why people think that we’re close.”
Drew: “Dude, I would never consider that we’re close. But thanks for the snacks last night.”
Kamu: “But that shower was amazing. That HOH bed sure is comfy.”

Kamu on the veto: “I think the best thing that could happen today is that I actually don’t win the veto, but somebody else does. The best thing would be if the veto gets used, and I’m forced to name a replacement. Then I tell Jason — hey bro, look, I didn’t put you up on the block because you just had a tough week, you had to fight for your life in the Blockbuster. However, I need to name a replacement, and you did throw my name out at the last nomination ceremony. I don’t have any reason to put anybody else up except for you. But after this, dude, it’s water under the bridge. We’re even. We’re good. I’m not gunning after you.”
Drew: “It’s such a layup.”
Kamu: “Now, this all changes if I win the veto.”
Drew: “You still kind of gotta gun for it, because if Mallory wins it, then both of them are here. Because Jason goes up, and he probably wins the Blockbuster, and then it’s a Lala versus Lyric.”
Kamu: “You mentioned my name in front of the whole house, and now I’m retaliating. But I want you to know, in front of the whole house — from this point, from right now, we’re even. And I’m not gunning after you. I could do that.”
Drew: “The only thing I’d worry about is when you say that in front of the whole house, you’re making a commitment. And then if you do go after him, they’ll be like, Kamu, he’s a liar. And people are going to be like, well, if he’s not gunning for him, who is he gunning for?”
Kamu: “My point is, I can’t go after him next week even if I wanted to. So if I say, hey dude, this is water under the bridge, and I have no power next week — dude, you know how much can change in a week.”

On Lala and Haley.
Drew: “I don’t even get why they beef, bro.”
Kamu: “It makes no sense to me. I was talking to Lala in the gym after the noms, and she was telling me — she’s like, I’m gonna be honest with you, I was having a conversation with Angela, and then Haley walked up and hijacked the conversation and started talking about her.”
Kamu: “They’re oil and water, bro.”
Kamu: “Dude, I don’t think Melody likes her at all. Every time Haley’s name comes up, Melody just switches up a little bit.”
Drew: “She’s always like — quiet.”
Kamu: “And Melody’s never quiet.”

Kamu: “Let me ask you this, though, and be real with me. Let’s say I am sitting out there next to Haley or Chuk. Worst case scenario, all three of us go up there, and somebody wins the Blockbuster, it’s not me. I’m sitting next to Haley, I’m sitting next to Chuk. Do I stay?”
Drew: “I think you stay, because they hate Haley so much. Haley goes 100% next to you. And Chuk is like an extension of Haley. I think he goes because of that as well. Genuinely. I’m not trying to stroke your ego right now.”
Drew: “I keep pushing the narrative to them that you want out. And now they’re coming up to me a couple days later, because they forgot who said it, and they go, I just get the vibe that he wants out.”
Kamu: “No, but dude, real talk, though — you’re right.”
Drew: “I’ve been hanging out with them less and less, bro. But they’re always together. I don’t want you viewed as a trio. From an outside perspective, they completely think that Haley and Chuk are inseparable. So it’s such an easy narrative to paint for them and say, Kamu feels like he’s the third wheel.”
Drew: “And I told them — I don’t even know if putting up Lyric and putting up Mallory and Lala, I don’t even think that was his initial idea. I think he might have been coerced into it by some other people. And I was like, I don’t know who specifically, because I know he loves all those people.”
Kamu: “That’s perfect, bro. That’s perfect.”
Drew: “I gotta be honest with you — I am putting a lot of faith into you, bro. And I’m not trying to f*** up Haley and Chuk or Angela and Dee by saying I don’t think it was his idea. I’m just trying to damage control everything for you specifically.”
Kamu: “No, dude, thank you. For real.”
Drew: “I’m not throwing any names out, though, because that would be stupid. That would be fed if I was like, oh yeah, fing Haley’s running that shit up.”
Kamu: “It’s good that you’re not — because then their minds will start to spin and be like, who is the ringleader? And perception is reality. If you don’t say anything, but they’re trying to figure it out, whatever idea they come up with in their mind is what they’ll end up seeing.”
Drew: “Because right now they think me and Barrett are, like, on the bottom. And I was like, yeah, they don’t tell us much.”
Kamu: “We’re just here for a good time.”

On Chuk.
Drew: “You’re probably the most well-rounded person still here when it comes to athletics and intelligence. I haven’t seen Chuk do much. I could totally see him being equally, if not better. But I just get the vibe that there’s going to be an element of his game that lacks.”
Kamu: “I think what Chuk lacks is strategy. I don’t ever really hear him come up with strategic plays. Not that he’s dumb or anything — he’s super smart. But when it comes to strategy, a lot of times he’ll listen and agree, but he doesn’t throw out a lot of ideas. And maybe that is his strategy.”
Drew: “I don’t think he’s watched the show much. He told me yesterday while we were walking — he’s like, dude, I’m so glad we’re in the Tool Shed. And then he goes, I love that you’re so funny and so goofy. But I feel like you lack transparency.”
Kamu: “Did he elaborate?”
Drew: “He just kind of gave me the definition of transparency. He’s like, dude, when I put my hand behind you, I can’t even see it. And then he’s like, I just want you to know, I want it to come from me and not from the other side of the house, because we’re together. Just know I’m looking out for you. And I was like — thanks, man. I was a little confused, but I think it’s coming from a good place.”
Drew: “I was like, so what would you do if you were me? And he was like, I just need a little more transparency. And then he puts his cowboy hat on and leaves. I was like — okay. It was like the Ghost of Christmas Past. ‘I’ve already said too much.'”
Kamu: “The transparency comment is so funny.”
Drew: “But he’s a dude that I do not see flipping. He’s loyal. He’s a dude that’d probably be loyal to a fault to Haley. They would sit there, and I could see him going, I’m not going to campaign against her.”
Kamu: “I completely agree, bro.”

Feeds cut to the diary room and they break it up.
Kamu: “All right, bro. Good talk. We’ll see what happens. Big day.”

8:48 am Feeds go out at 9:50 am they return. We find out that Angela is the host.

10:03 am Drew and Devens

Drew: “Last night Jason was telling me how much he hates Haley — all the stuff Yash was saying. He was saying how he wants to work with you, and how that can be the play.”
Devens: “That would just toss things into chaos. That would be funny.”

Yash walks up.
Devens: “That’s where my first thought went. I’ll put you in the middle so you can share your thoughts.”
Drew: “I know we love to create chaos, because that’s what the Dapper Dans do.”
Devens: “Chaos agents.”

Drew: “What could be fun is we pray that Jason wins this and maybe convince him to take Mallory off.”
Yash: “That’s what I was thinking too.”
Drew: “Because then we can stay in the middle.”
Devens: “Do you think there’s any way he’d do that?”
Drew: “Oh, I think so. Considering she chose him. F*** yeah, I think he will. Especially if we get Kamu to be like, this is why I didn’t put you up. This is the olive branch.”
Drew: “Not only do we get rid of a middle player — like, I don’t know, like a Lyric.”
Yash: “Because we want both sides to be strong, so we take shots at each other.”
Drew: “Everything stays unanimous. No sides are shown. Lines are still kind of hidden. And then we just keep riding the middle.”

Yash: “I still don’t want Jason to win, right?”
Drew: “No, absolutely.”
Yash: “We want him to crash out. But we have two options — that’s what’s great. You know Barrett talked to him yesterday, and Jason also told Barrett about the blow-up that he wants to do.”
Devens: “So if he’s on the block — which means he’ll probably do it.”
Yash: “Yeah. Like, at the end of the week, it’s the ultimate chaos.”

Jason joins and the talk turns to what era the veto comp might visit. Devens gets called to the DR and heads in.
Devens: “Catch you on the flippity flippity flip.”
Yash: “That was Rome’s idea too. To play golf drop. Like, do last man standing. And he never got to play.”
Yash: “You’re a comp magnet. Like, the competitions find you.”
Jason: “Well, I was on the block last week. That’s why.”

10:04 am Jason and Lyric

Lyric: “Sorry, boo-boo.”
Jason: “You feel good, baby?”
Lyric: “Yeah. How about you?”
Jason: “Yeah. I’m excited I get to play. I’m excited for you, too.”

Jason says the first job is locking in safety for the week.
Jason: “Then we can figure out what happens after.”
Lyric: “But you’re a beast. Go out.”
Jason: “Maybe. Who knows? We’ll worry about it when we get there, but just going for it.”
Lyric: “I love you.”

Jason stretches for the comp and the talk turns to what era it might be.
Jason: “I want to go to Egypt.”
Lyric: “I have a feeling it’s going to be like physical.”
Lyric: “Puzzle. Let’s do it again.”

Where it stands

Everything routes through a comp being played off-site this afternoon. Kamu’s plan survives only if he or a friendly hand wins and uses the veto — the forced replacement is the whole mechanism. Jason in the field is Thursday night’s accepted risk arriving on schedule: if he wins, the backdoor is dead, the renom comes out of Kamu’s own side of the house, and the promise that bought Lyric’s cooperation — if I win that veto, you’re coming down — dies with it. Drew is now running three postures at once: gun for the veto with Kamu at 8:10, pray Jason wins with the Dapper Dans at 10:10, and “on board to flip” in Jason’s own telling from Friday night. They can’t all be true, and the only person who knows which one is real is Drew. Underneath it all, the power the house has spent two days pinning on Jason is sitting with Devens — who denied having it and got believed, and who spent the morning entertaining chaos scenarios with the two people most committed to keeping both sides at war. And if the plan does hold and Jason lands on the block, the Dapper Dans’ own intel says he’s not going quietly.
