7:50pm All the house guests are in the kitchen screaming to let out their frustrations of being locked up in the house. After Yash asks how many people are in this room… 12345678910 1112 1314 Once we get a 15 and 16 hypothetically how cool would it be to DAP at the same time? Everybody daps up. They all get in a circle and yell 1, 2, 3 and then they Dap. Yash – I am never washing this hand! They talk about how its probably the biggest dap ever that should go in the Guinness book of world records.
8:13pm Big Brother gives the house guests beer and wine..
9:25pm HOH room – Drew, Devens and Barrett
Devens – I mean it depends on who wins HOH, I guess but I don’t think anyone who wins HOH would come after you guys now. Drew – I don’t think we would be the main target, no. But I feel like maybe they would put us up for its give and take. Do they think we’re some people that could be persuaded to go to each side maybe .. so maybe they wouldn’t want to put us up. Devens – I don’t think anyone from the Tool Shed would put you guys up. Drew – No. Devens – not next week, and I would straight up be like what are you talking about? That’s crazy! Why would you do that! There’s still plenty of freaking people over there, what are we talking about?! I don’t think anyone on this side is thinking about putting you guys up at all! And if they were I would be like what the f**k are you talking about?! That is crazy! Drew -Yup, absolutely. Devens – Like that would be an open declaration of like this thing is broken, its over! Like I wouldn’t be like, oh yeah cool! Like it would be like no, like if you put them up, its over! Drew – but don’t feel shy about telling us anything. Devens – I tell you guys f**king everything. But if you guys put them up, that I am okay with. Drew – I feel like we’re a very easy people to put up because maybe the fact that we’re in the middle, we have no affiliation to either. So yeah, like if a Taylor won, I would totally see her going like Drew, Barrett and like Mallory. You know what I mean because she doesn’t want to ruffle any feathers on either side. Devens – I see what you’re saying with that. Drew – But if Jason’s here, I don’t think Jason’s putting us up if he wins HOH. Devens – No, he would take more of a dramatic shot. I feel like most everyone would. Drew – I don’t know what Lala would do. Devens – I am pretty sure I would go up with Lala. Obviously Haley would go up with Lala and then who knows what else but I doubt either of you two because if she’s going to put both of us up, she might as well put someone else big up. Drew – yeah. Big Brother switches the feeds away and then back. Drew – F**k the icons and F**k Chuk. Devens – that works for me. Barrett – and say me or you wins HOH and we want to do a safe play and keep the tool shed intact. We don’t want to ruffle any feathers, who are our three at that point assuming Rome goes this week. Barrett – I would sacrifice my game for him. Drew – I think we should name this “Yash’s Angels”! Devens – yeah I love Yash. Drew – and we have to make sure he gets there. Devens – you guys can do whatever you want with the thing, like I’m supporting.. Drew – like if you (Barrett) were up there I would say put Melody. Barrett – really? Drew – or Lyric. Barrett – Lyric would be the better. Drew – yeah. And it would be like cool, we just hardcore took a stance on the tool shed. Like we’re rocking with you guys. Devens’ – whatever you guys want to do with your HOH, I am going to roll with it. Like at some point we have to go for those guys. If you guys think we need to do it beforehand, and that’s like how we need to convince other people in terms of the crossover.. Drew – part of what feels like a risky play that could be huge for us is letting Mallory .. if we could get Mallory win next week. And then be like Haley, Chuk, Kamu. Devens – there’s no f**king way, Mallory would put up Me, Angela and Dee. Drew – who would put up those three? Devens – I don’t think anyone would put up those three. Yash joins them and they all dap. They talk about how they all want Yash to win HOH.

10:30pm – 11pm Big Brother blocks the feeds. The feeds cut in and out a bit..
11:15pm Bedroom – All the house guests are laying around in the bedroom talking about pickup lines, approaching girls, turn on/turn offs etc.
12:05am All the house guests are sleeping.. / Lala is reading the bible in the pod bedroom

Yeah. I’m that weirdo.
Barrett (no cam talk in episode) has a 2 episode streak with 0.
Other cast members with 0 inclusion episodes: Melody, Jason, La Trice, Chuk… and Devens. Devens is second overall and the new HOH…. but had a zero d/r episode with the eviction.
The stuntcasts are currently three highest in d/r. in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s as of Sunday.
The rest of the cast is mostly under 20.
For a few seasons you could point out who would win a season by ‘who never had a 0 d/r episode.’ With the upping of production promoted cam talk for the hg’s they want the fanbase to identify with most… that may no longer be the case. Let me say this for those seated at the back throwing popcorn: prodo encourages some to camtalk and actively discourages other hgs from camtalking. Multiple seasons of some houseguests saying they were told never to break the 4th wall by camtalking while they are still in the house? This tells us some are encouraged others are discouraged.
The stunts getting double the rest of the cast with little sign that will change… i think it is overkill. But boy are they aiming to get their money’s worth out of the stunt contract pay for players.
Special notes… I understand why Mallory had a lot of d/r last week to come in top of the newbs for d/r…. but what was the point of Kamu being next on the list. In no danger and not really relevant to the story of week one as he was not HOH or a nom consideration or a veto winner or a renom option. So he was not a major character to week one… but got more d/r than the other 2 noms. Something to watch possibly?
Possible romance with Haley. Several hg’s have also been speaking about him.
Great points/good info. Re-Kamu …feels like grodner etc are lining up a kamu, chuk haley vs devens, dee, Angela battle. At least based on episodes non feeds viewing. Can’t wait.
production definitely tries to steer things, though i never feel they outright rig it. they do try to cast people who are particularly easy to steer into actively sabotaging their own game though.
like i think production heavily tried to push the veto being used on lyric over melody because to some extent i still think production would rather no-showmance melody get voted out over showmance rome or drag race jason.
As I have said this season I am TRYING not to slip into my old habits of being super tinfoil. Trying. I have also said I will have slips… and just treat them as humor or who cares posts of a tinfoil hat going cold turkey but not yet reformed. Got bored and let the monster out of its cage. It is safely muzzled once again.
It’ll be interesting to see if and how devens adjusts his game this season. I get and appreciate his push to make big moves. It’s way better than watching IG clout chasers “vote w the house” every week. But he walks a fine line as he does in Fiji. He had a big week. I keep thinking yeah he solidified some alliances, won both comps and made a power move trying to backdoor rome. But within all those moves there was unnecessary sloppy parts to it. It’s one thing to play aggressively with idols and shots in the dark….but I think BB requires some balance for a long run. Will be interesting to see the evolution.
big brother is always interesting because whenever you take a shot you show your hand and are vulnerable the next week. but you don’t get many chances to take shots (many players make the mistake of not taking a shot and missing their opportunity). in survivor you have much more ability to hide your intentions and with almost everyone vulnerable every vote, you’re much less likely to not have the opportunity to eliminate a target.
Very true. I’ll take risky moves any day over the run of HGs that were there for followers. So far it’s setting up with a ton of potential power shifts etc if things roll right. All about timing.
You left out both the boy meeting with Rome and Dee splitting it up and also the girl meeting with Rome.
You also left out some entertaining talks of Dee and Angela.

Rumor
I have read this a few times on socials but have no idea how to verify the true or false ratio on it. I am sharing it as something that is on a low buzz out there, but could be complete crap. Grain of salt.
The “saw it 6 times on 2 platforms from different posts and users” Rumor:
Melody was cast as a back up showmancer, but arrived saying she was not able to showmance, something about possibly not being single or refusing pda on tv.
Me: Well if this was old bbcan she would be gone by week 4. Multiple examples of women cast as potential showmances refusing to showmance and being cut out of storyline and out the door pre-jury. Not a lot of storyline flexibility on production behalf.
So that is the rumor.
Who knows.
This site is obsessed with conspiracy theories. Instead of discussing the players’ strategy and gameplay, every conversation turns into “production rigged it.” It’s no surprise participation keeps declining. Seriously, just enjoy the show like Reddit, social media, and the actual players do.

I’m not asking anyone to praise production. I just hate it when every single discussion turns into “production rigged it.” If you genuinely believe everything is rigged, then there’s no point discussing strategy or gameplay. If it’s all predetermined, what is there to even talk about?

Angela commandeered the HOH.
Cross and Red joined to be Toolshed. They could have been the Red Cross because they send everyone else to the hospital. but no. Toolshed.

Angela takes center stage. Jason uses sexuality.

Angela got prize to save her from Jason (the fake cry d/r boosted her vote for sure) BUT
A stuntcast would ALWAYS get the first voter advantages…. mm hmm
Barret gets a d/r for first time in a week.

VERDICT
IT WAS NOT THAT BIG A DEAL IN EDITED VERSION. As far as arguments… the Rome and Haley was closer to an ACTUAL bbargument. The rest felt…. rehearsed to me. Not tinfoil. just it did not feel shocking and the anger seemed staged.
