Took me 3 minutes to remember how unsavory Rachel is along with everyone that is around her. She is poison to the season get her out.
Alright, so Week 1 of Big Brother 27 was like every other week one season a mess of alliances.
With that said right off the bat, people were scrambling to make alliances We’re talking trios like “Triple Threat” (Jimmy, Mickey, Morgan) and “mom squad” (Rachel & Amy). Vince, who ended up being the first Head of Household (HoH), was busy making a secret Final 2 with Kelley and joining a big group called “Heavy Hitters” with Jimmy, Rachel, and a few others. Basically, everyone was hedging their bets with multiple friend groups.
When Vince became HoH, he had a few people who couldn’t be nominated because of twists. He decided to target Isaiah “Zae”, thinking Zae was trying to form an all-guys crew. Vince put Amy, Ashley, and Zae on the block. But then, Ashley won the Power of Veto and took herself off. Here’s where it got spicy: Vince put his secret Final 2 partner, Kelley, up as a replacement nominee! They’d planned it, with Kelley wanting to seem “brave” and build her game resume. They were banking on everyone voting out Zae instead. Oh, and there was a new twist coming, the “BB Blockbuster,” where one nominee could save themselves at the last minute. Talk about pressure!
Things got super dramatic at the Veto meeting. Jimmy, out of nowhere, called Keanu “fake” and a “snake” right in front of everyone! Turns out, Keanu had been talking smack about Jimmy and Morgan behind their backs. This blew up in Keanu’s face, isolating him and making him a huge target. Morgan was especially mad, calling it “insulting.” Meanwhile, Zae was trying desperately to save himself, even pitching a fake “Burger Boys” alliance to Vince and other guys. Zae and Kelley also secretly promised to save each other if one of them won the Blockbuster twist.
As eviction night got closer, campaigning was intense. Rachel, a returning player, was actively trying to get Zae out, even pushing for an all-female alliance to vote him off. Most of the women were on board. Zae, on the other hand, was hoping for the guys’ votes and a couple of girls. There was even talk of a potential 7-7 tie vote, which would force Vince to break it – something he definitely didn’t want. The “Heavy Hitters” alliance was working hard to keep their votes in line to ensure Zae went home.
With the Blockbuster twist still hanging over their heads, everyone was playing out “what if” scenarios. Amy seemed safe no matter what. The real showdown was between Zae and Kelley. Given Kelley’s secret alliance with Vince and her connections, Zae was definitely the main target.
So, Week 1 was all about alliances forming and breaking, a risky pawn move, a public smackdown, and a whole lot of strategic scrambling. It just goes to show how quickly things can change in Big Brother, even before the first person is officially evicted!

The Burger Boys Alliance is born. It’s not a real alliance and never really was. It’s number 3 Zach searches for his ideal alliance including his f2 and his showmance interest.
Kelley given the foot in mouth awkward segment that is Kelley. Kelley cries.
Mastermind Preview enters house there is a safe. oh great. a golden butt veto?
Rachel spotlight. Morgan will do exactly what Rachel wants. Morgan campaigns for Amy and against Zae as ordered.
Zae Rachel. THIS WAS A WASTE OF TIME MANUFACTURED CRAP THAT SHOWED US ZAE WAS OUT BEFORE HE WAS OUT FOR A SPOTLIGHT ON RACHEL’S DOMINANCE. She’s trying to keep it going and he’s stupid enough to play into it.
FYI: I don’t hate Rachel. I don’t like stuntcasting. She’s a stuntcast, she gets the heat.
Section Three: Blockbuster Comp

Apparently Aphantasia doesn’t affect word scrambles for Kelley? Not always the case so worth noting.
Section Four: EVICTION VOTE.

THE ARGUMENT STAGING WAS MEANT TO SHOW RACHEL’S MASTERY AND CONTROL. AS SOON AS IT HAPPENED IT WAS FOR SURE ZAE WAS LEAVING TO ME BECAUSE PRODO NEEDS THAT STUNTCAST SPOTLIGHT AND THE TMZ THING WITH THE BUFFER BETWEEN REALTIME AND FEEDS MEANS THEY LET US SEE TMZ LIKE EVENTS IF THEY WANT US TO SEE THEM SO THAT THERE IS PRESS ABOUT THE SEASON.
CAMPAIGN
House learns Kelley won Blockbuster.
No strategizing celebrating Kelley’s win. Adrian is keeping his word to Zae. Will is flipping to Rachel. Mickey and Kat are off talking who knows why think things will work out. Keanu and Lauren are off talking about it’s crazy but whisperwhisperwhisper.
AMY: love you Zae. Mental and physical threat. I’m weak. Keep me for my weakness.
ZAE: we all compete. Take out Amy is taking Rachel’s second vote. I’ll take on Rachel vote for me and you are safe. Expecting the tie is dead… but 8-6 or 9-5????

Get used to Rachel getting spotlight moments Wednesday nights with a nominee to be included in the Thursday episode it will tell you in advance who is leaving whether it’s a loveydovey hugfest or an argument. it will be staged for episode.
Both Amy and Zae gave bad Eviction Night speeches but Zae’s was worse. The only thing that accomplished was putting a bigger target on his back

What did Amy say? I’m not a competitor or a threat and i’m of no help to you, but keep me.
What did Zae say? I am a competitor and I’m only targeting one person.
Problem:
He tried to give a Godfrey speech without the conspirators having already secured numbers.
The reason why Zae was evicted is multi-fold imo:
He told a stuntcast he would nominate her. Or at least that’s her story… who knows what was actually said since it was day 2 pre-feeds.
She used fear tactics of a brigade to get the women to fear working with men.
Riley.
Riley pledged to do everything Kat wants. Kat was physically uncomfortable around Zae.
I suspect that was the Mickey Kat convo. Kat was unsure if Riley would vote her way.
Ava.
Ava reversed her boot order to be in the club. her order changed 2x.
I’m hugely yuck on brolliance ‘floaters are anyone that can’t bench press a bus’ mentality.
I always favor getting rid of the bigger threat you are not aligned with.
ON SPEECH ALONE? Zae’s was better than Amy’s because it met the agenda.
One thing I am already happy about: The constant unanimous vote seems to be officially gone. I am glad last season wasn’t an aberration
As crazy and stupid in the game he is I still like Keanu. It’s the Dungeon master Bond.

Zae wasn’t someone I initially wanted out first, but Adrian and Rylie weren’t on anyone’s radar this week. Zae was definitely smarter than I expected and I needed him out for my 3 picks to move forward.
Rookie mistake: Never tell a past HG any variation that you’re coming after them.
Congrats to Kelley for the first BB Blockbuster win — she didn’t “Pooch” herself out of the game. But she may have inadvertently cornered herself into a perpetual pawn like Angela.
My wish list targets for next week are Adrian, Rylie, Keanu, and Morgan.

yup. returnees have a built in guarantee to at least mid-jury as half the house does whatever they say and any potential threats either have to be total comp beasts or get picked off, leaving the returnee super insulated.
Not always. Janelle nor MB made it to Jury in Season 14. Neither did Frank from Season 18. Brendon wouldn’t have either in season 13 if it weren’t for the challenge that won him back in the game.
Zae deserved to go because he’s stoooopid.
They have themselves a house full of Over Reactors this season…I’m glad motormouth went home. He was getting too annoying. But come on Zach and Keanu and Cowboy potty mouth…what are you crying about guys…really ridiculous…crying over someone you met a week ago…this is a game…you know..winners and losers…even I know that and I’m a girl, Burger Boys. …Is Clueless Amy morphing into Rachel…and you can send Miss Whiney attention seeker, I want to be popular too, Kelley home…her desperation act when she won Blockbuster was way over the top…..I couldn’t keep looking. Second HOH is often a ‘crapshoot’ comp. With comp equity being the new norm… that could be a very quick comp… once everyone understands the rules.
it is likely that they have not started the HOH comp as of yet.
Remember that part of last season feeds when feeds came back right after eviction and a while later we would hear there was a half hour call before starting the HOH comp?
I would bet they haven’t got the 1/2 hour call yet, but they are going to get it shortly.

What i’m gathering.
Jimmy found a key that won HOH.
Will and Kelley found something as well… some sort of prize or power. They think Kelley found a veto.
Lauren says Jimmy tried to throw HOH to Rachel.
Keanu lied about his vote saying he voted out Zae. lied about his 607 person alliance.
I have no idea what 7/11 is… guessing it’s an alliance formed last Friday.
Jimmy is witchunting the 5th vote (Will’s vote).
Says Keanu isn’t a target but MAY be a nominee consideration.

Kelley won the BlockBuster Comp and picked up the tiara fairly quickly in the game but does anyone know what the 4 word unscrambled clue was? I know Julie never said it and I’ve yet to find any story about the Eviction episode that spells out what the clue was?
