2pm Backyard – Dee and Melody
Melody – Like you and Drew at the end. I want to take you. Like I hope you know that. Like I want women to go and I feel like you are one of the few people who have been like.. deserve to win the game anyway if you get that far. Dee – Thank you. I think the only thing that scares me and I’m just going to be completely honest is like voting to evict me. Melody – No I know. Dee – Like putting me up because I generally get it because. And I believed you when you came up to
me and you were like, hey, I want to get a big move. And then you came up to me like I want you to stay over Devens. I’m like dude, I believe you. Melody – No, 100%. Dee – And I felt that. Melody – I get it. Dee – Like you’re like bro, you literally put me up, right. But then I thought genuinely, like I understand that you wanted to make a big move and I’m like why don’t you just put Devens and Yash up? Melody – Yeah. Dee – because it still breaks up the boys club. Melody – I know. Dee – I Say it. I’m like dude, like I know it’s still there. Melody – no for sure. I was also scared too, because like I don’t know how you are with Devens too. I was scared maybe if you didn’t go up and you won the veto, you would take Devens down. You know, I just wasn’t sure and I didn’t have any f**king time to think about it. Dee – I think its important to have these conversations because Devens is not somebody I could take to the end. He has a great resume. And I also want to be at the end with just women because the boys club has pissed me off for four weeks now. Melody – Same. Dee – But even when when I don’t
remember, if you remember when I was HOH and I set you a Mallory down, I was like, I want to work with you guys. Melody – Yeah. Dee – And I feel like it’s always been some sort of like Clash. Melody – Yeah. Dee – Because of the f**king guys. Melody – Yeah.
Dee – I honestly am very bothered how like the veto went down.. Melody – No, I know. I’m so like of course, bro, like a f**king course. Dee – Like I and you’ll see that too. Melody – Yeah. And I believe you. Dee – But then I’m like in a in a weird position because now that he won the veto obviously I’m being asked right by them to vote you out because like, it also helps Drew not make the decision. If you were to like win HOH next week. Melody – Yeah, right. Dee – And then Devens wants you out, right? And he is literally the person that’s not re-noming me, right? You get what I’m saying. Melody – no, I totally get it.
Dee – Have you talked to Devens? Melody – No. I know he’s not voting. But yeah, I don’t even know what I would say to Devens. He knows that I was trying to get him out on my. It’s like, what do I even say?
Dee – yeah, no, that makes sense. I mean trust me, I’ll talk to Devens because I also can’t blindside him. I do want you in this game. Like you have no idea. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Melody – No I know that. 100%! Dee – I’m just in a weird position. Melody – I get it. Devens is your closest ally and he wants me out. Dee – its not even that because at the end of the day I’m going to do what I want you know what I mean? There is a risk, like he is a great competitor and if I go against him and then I’m out next week. Melody – no I totally get it. Dee – I’ll talk to him again.
2:45pm HOH Room – Devens, Dee and Taylor
Devens talks about how well the Survivor players have done on Big Brother and how he feels bad for any others that come after them because they’ll be targeted first.
3:15pm Backyard – Drew and Melody are playing pool.
Drew – I do think I’m a big issue for you right now is you being here and me. Melody – Yeah. I mean, of course. Like I f**king get it. Drew – But you know, you already have one vote, so that’s all up to Dee. Melody – Yeah. But the good news is is I also said the Taylor sh*t to Dee and I could tell it like was scaring the f**k out of her. Drew – Like how Taylor has hella

5:30pm Backyard Dee and Drew
Drew and Dee talk about jury votes. Drew – I think between you and me its a toss up. Dee – There is a lot of people that I have pissed off. I definitely have Angela and Lala. Drew – I think you might have Taylor. Dee – Possibly, but it depends on how you treat her. Drew – I would have Barrett and Melody. You would have Devens. Dee – I think I would have Devens over Taylor. Taylor is a toss up. I’ve heard she is very against Icon winning. Drew – It kind of stresses me out that Taylor is still here. Dee – yeah. The thing is too, he (Devens) has never put up Taylor. Drew – I know. Dee – So Taylor is not mad at him. Drew – Do you think he would keep Taylor and have her be final three? Do you think he wants to sit next to Taylor? Dee – I’ve thought about it. I’ve thought about it. You might think I am a very good competitor but there is a lot of sh*t I don’t know.
Drew – I am down to roll the dice with you. Dee – I would love to see you like that.
Drew – but if I win HOH and then I win the veto I’ll probably use it on you not him. Dee – OK. Drew – because, then you could vote Taylor out. Dee – Yeah. Drew – And I would do it because I
don’t know what Devens would do. Dee – I agree. Drew – I think he might get rid of you. Dee – I don’t think so.. Drew – if it was you and Taylor on the block next week, actually, I don’t know, because I could see him being like and get rid of the Dee. Dee – I don’t know scariest.. I could see it going either way.

Dee – I’m nervous because I don’t know what’s gonna happen with the pharaoh’s curse. Beause if it’s a vote between me melody and Taylor.. Melody istelling me she evict Taylor. Taylor telling me she evict Melody. But I don’t believe them. I’d be so f**ked, I would be so f**ked, and that would be the end of my game.

I want Devens to be in final three. I don’t trust Dee or Melody. Dee has ridden on Deven’s game and Melody on Drew’s game. Deven’s and Drew deserve to be final two. But these two women have no bottom line when it comes to money. If Dee keeps Melody then Devens will know that the only path forward is to win all comps.
Both Devens and Dee want to only take each other as far as Final 3 and then take someone else to Final 2. Both have said so when they were talking alone to the cameras
Dee is planning to cut Devens. She has said it many times. Deven is loyal and wants to take “Survivors” to the end. Dee is cutthroat and will take the shot at Devens as soon as it is possible. I do not like Dee at all and want her gone. I would love a Devens/Drew final. I think they have both played great. Yeah, Drew is a weasel but he knows it and others have played BB as the weasel and won. I know I am in the minority here, but I have really enjoyed this season and this cast. There was actually no one who drove me completely nuts or I thought was an absolutely horrible person. I think it’s been fun and entertaining. Bring on those thumbs down, haha. It’s ok. Devens and Drew final two!
How did Dee “ride” on Devens’ game?She won 2 HOHs?has never put Devens up?plus one safety stone to Devens as well as BB bribe that kept icons for several weeks. I think they equally benefitted from each other‘s game.
Devens is more social than her, Dee never talked to about half the house and cliqued up with her few people early on. Devens had conversations with people like Rome, and Lyric even if just a few, that’s the stuff that matters people talk and everyone knows they feel comfortable around Devens, he’s guaranteed to win if he sits final two, Dee isn’t. Devens has won more than her and has better relationships especially with the jury. Dee is actually a snooty bitch and it shows A LOT!!!
I want Devens to be in the final 2. But without Dee, it’ll be a long road from the final 4 which he is in, to the final 3 and then to 2. Hope this doesn’t end with Dee cutting him at final 3.

You are completely correct! Dee’s bribe should have only been able to be used on her and not all three ICONS! Yash and Barrett were the only players that deserved to win! But Dee does not deserve to win!

Dee & Devens didn’t WANT to be on BB. They never applied to BB. They were both Survivor fans. BB has their fans. Survivor has theirs.
I don’t get why now, after 25+ yrs as independent shows, Grod decided to merge them. And not in a fair way. These BB newbies, like their predecessors for 27 previous seasons, had been dreaming for years of being on Big Brother, NOT Survivor. And, when they finally get on, they find out they’re NOT playing BB. They’re playing Survivor-lite, where 2 Survivor alums are given SO many unfair production advantages that they are all but guaranteed the BB prize $.
And one of them has already won Survivor’s $1,000,000 & probably thinks she’s slumming, being on a show that ONLY pays $750,000.
The only way I can see for Grod to make this right is to invite EVERY newbie from this season back next year, to compete ONLY against each other and no one else. That would at least give them their fair shot on Big Brother that Grod so egregiously denied them all this year.

I couldn’t agree with you more Mike! Plus, the fact he turned down two better (for him) deals, only to accept the worst of the three, because it was “offered” basically with a gun upside his head (“if you don’t, I’ll backdoor you right NOW, on my current HOH!”) makes it much more of a threat than a bribe.
Throw out the whole it’s mandatory that he follow through with what he agreed to part of the bribe rules, and it becomes just another Big Brother deal that he doesn’t have to honor in order to save himself. So it just wasn’t fair to not only Yash, but to his entire side of the house, because he was forced to throw HOH comps to avoid nominating his allies. It had a huge impact on the game – a much bigger impact than any other bribe I ever remember being used in the past.
It may have had an even bigger impact than Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto, but we really can’t judge that since we’ll never know what would have happened had he not used it.

At this point only the HOH and version with veto are safe. It common sense when only 5 are left.
I agree something odd because the claim is it will be an “Egyptian eviction” (one house guest sent packing) and only HOH and veto player will be safe. Means, whatever can only happen after the veto meeting. Drew mostly likely will play it on himself but there’s still a possibility he’d use it on Melody. . Then it seems the three other players are not safe. Perhaps we can expect the unexpected…
No, just means Taylor and Melody go home in one week without an extra HOH comp. Expect the expected- Devens and Dee one and two with Devens the winner.
I am kinda thinking they will skip the veto meeting and the veto holder will be the sole vote. Like what they normally do at final 4. This is a curse after all! That is the only way to guaranty only HOH and Veto holder are safe. I personally hope Drew will get rid of Dee if that ends up happening.

Based on what the curse said, I agree with you. Devens’ can’t vote, because if he does, only his vote would count, because he and Drew would be the only two voters, and Devens would be the tie breaker.
Sounds to me like this is just another production twist to ensure Dee stays (Drew voting – he’s not voting her out – bye bye Taylor), while manufacturing some artificial drama for her.
The curse also said someone would be leaving within 3 days, or by the end of the third day, or something like that. That was Thursday night and the end of the 3rd day would have been Sunday night, so somebody is likely already gone.

The message was clear. Only the HOH and veto holder will be safe. That means three people will be open to the curse and one will be sent packing. While the other two will remain on the block until Wednesday eviction.
Although I doubt it that will be the case, I’d love that , except that puts all the power of who goes on production. They could have curses depending on who is not put on the block. If it’s Dee, they won’t send her home. They’ll just change it so they it’s either M or T, probably leaving it as a normal eviction, just a specially scheduled one. Actually, what they should have done was punish the person who took the money but, since Devens did it, that messed that up. I think they were hoping the weasel would take it and they could really shake things up by booting him out.
But then we’d be at F3 by Wed, and theres another 2 day eviction event happening after that. I dont recall the exact wording but it seemed to definitely be another eviction for Thurs Fri cycle.
I dont think two HGs leave on Devens HOH. One goes but on a curse.
Pretty sure the evil Egyptian voice said someone would be gone by the end of the 3rd day, which would be Sunday night.
I want Dee gone but I’m worried about Devens being vulnerable and her staying could possiblyprotect him. I think every single person in the house wants Rick gone. His only chance to stay is veto. And I think even Drew is starting to turn on him and would protect Melody over him.

Doing this in increments because I am still only operating at about 50% due to allergy meds (non-drowsy my ass… they make me feel slow and stupid and have found me surprised that i’ve even written some of the comments i have this week because I actually don’t remember writing some of them).
So the newbies made a pact to get out an icon. Ceasefire the second. We KNOW this from exit interviews. It happened in the bathroom before noms.
Everyone knew Drew was going to flip. Melody figured either an Icon or Yash was a win for her in terms of who would be the biggest move at that time once Devens won veto but was always going to renom Yash if a renom was needed.
Drew was ALWAYS going to keep stuntcasts. Why do you think he got that pressure cooker deal that makes zero sense when people were noting the odd looks to the sides during last week’s veto. We pretty much witnessed d/r monkey manipulation real time with the audio muted (they have five minutes between real time and when we see it on feeds… don’t tell me they can’t selective mute) Who was the most likely to follow direction to keep stuntcssts safe? Drew. Payback is another individual time veto THIS week. Gee. Anyone actually liking his d/r persona? Just me that thinks it’s bullshit piled on top of bullshit? STOP CALLING YOURSELF IN THE MIDDLE WHEN YOU ONLY EVER TAKE ACTION THAT BENEFIT ONE SIDE. That ISN’T middle. That’s lowest dangling fruit on one side.
So we had inklings Taylor knew that Yash was going in her vote that night. We now know that She knew before the vote.
Devens is still brotown type. The only bro left is Drew. So of course he was not down with Dee saying to target Drew. In some universe the survivors inhabit… they are going to have to be taken to the final 2… what… is Grod gonna suddenly take her ass off the scale she’s been tipping in their favor for oh so many weeks?
There was more stuff included in Unclogged… but i only caught about 1 minute of the episode. I just couldn’t do it. That show is dreadful.
So what we saw in the first 18 minutes of the episode: the one i’ve been calling the prodo gatekeeper keeping the stunts safe Drew kept the stunts safe again. Everyone knew it was going to happen.
Okay. back to snooze again for me. Will attempt to finish the episode later. Might even check on feeds at some point but i have zero interest left.

since bb16 / bbcan 2 I have ONLY been this disappointed in a season twice. The first time was bb19 the second was bbcan 6. I even slogged through and daily recapped for those horrible digital dailies in lieu of feeds seasons of bbcan… And yet I’m less invested right now in this season because…
it hasn’t felt like big brother. This has felt anthropologically like a reflection of current us society mixed with a sociological display of the matthew effect. We’ve seen so much scale tipping real (advantages) and inferred (d/r calls that flip houseguest opinion) that it really feels like it’s just not big brother this year. They aren’t even trying to hide it. They at least performatively try to hide it.
I’ve also been feeling like I’m watching some other show rather than a season of Big Brother. It seems like each season gets progressively worse in the prodo manipulation but this year it is just so blatant that it looks lazy. The show is about manipulation. Players manipulating each other, manipulating the audience, and if they are good, manipulating production. Dr. Will set the tone of how to play that. Production manipulating the HGs and the viewers, that’s their job. But each year it becomes less believable to the point where manipulation crosses over to outright rigging as if every week is scripted.
I used to enjoy evaluating the strategy of houseguests, now I’m only left with analyzing productions strategy. It’s become boring and predictable, so much for expect the unexpected.
I made a similar comment on social media, and someone insisted that BB8 final 2 of Evil Dick and his daughter was much more prodo rigged. I didn’t watch that season closely. From reading these breakdowns, I think there’s a difference of that season being what you describe about manipulation, vs concrete game advantages like week 1 can’t be nominated. and then those game powers.
Very well stated. Love it. Steering the game in whatever direction for the sake of avoiding bad TV is one thing but this…is unacceptable.

It happens every season change. a good week or two where something in the atmosphere invariably causes me to have allergy difficulties. Thought getting out of the city would help (if I passed out on the sidewalk walking home one more time the ems was going to have to give me a membership card)… but living rural is just as bad because I have always had more allergies than i can count.
No biggie at this point. Just have to point out when it is happening because sometimes my thoughts are clouded when writing and it takes more effort to understand me.

So it has to be down to 3 houseguests by next Thursday. 1 houseguest will be evicted this Thursday. That still leaves 1 extra houseguest. What day will will that person be evicted?
Does Drew realize he’s been playing for 2nd place, or does he actually think he can beat Dee or Devens?
Drew thinks he has a chance because none of the newbies want a Survivor to win. Same way, if there is a female at the end, the female will win because they have all said this. So, if Drew is next to Taylor or Dee, he will lose for this reasoning (also many don’t like him). Being up against Devins is his best shot because of the jury Survivor hate. If this is played fair and square and Devins is up there, no matter who he is next, he should win hands down. But me thinks Dee is going to get him out at the first chance. She has said she won’t take him to final 2.
Dee is such an asshole. Drew saves her from being evicted and 2 seconds later she’s plotting his demise. This all stems from Drew and Devens having a close relationship, she’s jealous and has been worried about it for weeks. But the way she acted about it is like she has no soul. This is the same reason I didn’t like her on Survivor, and I don’t like her any more now.
Also, as much as I want Dee gone, I want Melody gone just as much because I want either a Devens/Drew final 2 or a Devens/Taylor. Devens/Drew would be more interesting.
Dee is only still in it because of production manipulation.

The Tiny Veto has become the tiny HOH. Da’vonne would be pissed.
Notes. the pieces start in correct position on the floor. first time. it’s usualy not sitting in position on the floor, part of the difficulty is figuring out the pattern to create the puzzle. This isn’t a puzzle. this is taking pieces from one spot with tweezers and putting them in another location in the same order.

Now at 3 hour 20 minutes. Devens is getting way too much edit of his whole journey with the comp. This is old style survivor style confessional time being appled to a bb comp.

Devens is now doing the MJ method of stacking slightly off balance on the top 3 layers. They rang the bell a lot quicker for him than for her. Over four hours.
Taylor is still relying on that tethers relationship (the primaires?) when explaining her relationship to Devens. The couple (stunts) should go after the couple (flirtmance).
Y’know what would have likely saved Yash there Taylor??? Evicting Dee when she was on the block with Angela during Barrett’s HOH. Just saying.

I’ve noticed this week that the stuntcasts really donèt understand the format of final 4.
Repeatedly they have said “I don’t want someone that would target me staying and putting me on the block going forward.” At final 5.
FInal 4 means the HOH noms 2 people in a meaningless gesture because the power in the final 4 week belongs to the veto holder.
So this fear of being nominated right before final 4 is stupid.
Just saying this because that particular justification holds no water and no weight when you get down to the final 4. It’s not about who would nominate you. It’s about who you could beat in final 4 veto and who would keep you in final 4 veto / eviction ceremony.

I believe because Deven took the 10k Drew gets to pick the renom due to the curse. So Dee might be going up.
Did anyone else see Vince explaining on the CBS or X about the Egyptian eviction curse and how it works? He says, “Only on the 4th round can you collect two tokens, once you’ve collected your 2 tokens, that’s when you can apply for immunity.” ??? Anyone know about this?
