My brain this am has completely picked up on what i would consider a shenanigan during veto. the first 3 pieces Devens picked up were the first three parts of the puzzle. Then he grabbed from the bottom and the bottom 3 pieces were the back three pieces in order. In a 15 piece max puzzle, for some odd reason 6 of the puzzle pieces were stacked in order of the beginning and the end peices. Statistically improbable considering a couple of them had pieces totally out of order in their stack, and in one case had a few pieces stacked upside down in the mix. Just…. Odd. And something we saw before in a double veto (the hockey puzzle in 21 stands out to me for this.. and given it was the same idea lay puzzle and shoot ball to end of puzzle…. just a minor red flag to me).

Wait for the flashbacks at the beginning of the next episode. What I expect to see? Once Devens won veto I am pretty sure the convo between Dee and Melody that got cut to commercial is going to be of import. I think Melody was somewhat aware of what was going to happen with her renom. As in somewhat aware both survivors were staying. I think EVERYONE knew.

Was Yash a good move for Melody? The guy that said multiple times ‘let her be pissed off, go win a comp if you want to do something about it’ put it out into the universe that he didn’t care about her existence in the game. He wasn’t going to work with her, he already chose Taylor as his dragalong. In his opinion, only comp wins and deals matter. He’d already backstabbed her with Barrett’s HOH. Since week one we’ve heard him say take out the women so the real competitors can play the game. No really, he said that more than once early weeks, how soon we forget.
FOR MELODY’S game… getting rid of a comp threat that has already shown ambivalence at best antipathy at worst towards her continued game existence is NOT a bad move. It lessens the opps that would win comps and take her out immediately after the double from 3 to 2 as far as she knows.

Taylor or Drew renom would have meant Taylor or Drew eviction. Shush. Dee v Taylor ends up same vote split to evict Taylor. Dee v. Drew? Devens Yash and Taylor take out Drew don’t bs me. So… getting rid of the comp beast with zero percent chance of having your back in the game is not a bad move. Any other renom? Given her perception of relationships was a net loss. So in essence, taking the shot at the season comp beast sitting winless in a double once her initial attack against the survivors failed? smart game move for her given what she knows.

I’ve stopped being surprised that Drew votes in best interest of the survivors against the other newbs. Who we kidding. Same problem I had with Tucker prodopet gatekeeping for prodoplant Angela…. is now gatekeeper Drew guarding the Survivors. Hope whatever negotiations he made with Grod get him somewhere because the ‘i’m the new dr. will gheesling jun game’ he thinks he’s playing for the cameras… isn’t landing like iconic. It’s landing like idiot.

According to Google AI, Devens won HOH. He also won 10k. They were all put in seperate areas and given a button to push to unleash the pharaohs twist. The first one to take the bait was Devens, which won him the 10k. So now, there will not be a regular nomination ceremony. They will have the veto completion first, some time today. Then Devens will nominate 2 people from the unsafe HG’s and THIS Sunday will be a live eviction!

Devens didn’t win the HOH, he won the tiny veto which makes him completely safe. The HG’s will each go to the diary room and cast who they want up in the eviction seats on Sunday. The feeds will be down until after Sunday’s episode.
