Big Brother maker Endemol has been close to finanical ruin for some time now. It’s currently sitting on $4.1 billion in debt for which it does not have the cash flow to service. Lenders have been giving it extensions on loan payback with the hope that some deal between Endemol’s shareholders and Lenders could be made.

Finncial Times has reported that a deal has been made between a majority of the lenders and the shareholders to effectively reduce Endemol’s debt by 80%. Ultimately this means Endemols 3 main shareholders who own 1/3 of the company each will dilute their majority control to a sub 50% stake, this in turn temporarily saves the company.

Biggest News to come out is Rachel and Brendon (aka BRenchel) being on THE AMAZING RACE, I predict breakdowns, tears, Brendon getting overly aggressive and Rachel saying “nobody comes between me and my man”.

One of the long standing rumors in the Big Brother world was partially debunked last week. Jordan and Jeff are planning to move in together this new year. It was long thought that these 2 were just using their “relationship” to further Jeff’s career as a reality TV star.

Big Brother 14 has been confirmed and the BB14 Application form and rules have been released. Big Brother 14 Casting Calls should be known in March. I was hoping for a Big Brother 14 Allstars but after last years dogs breakfast of a season I’m guessing (more like hoping) for a reboot season.. Either way if your an interesting person and do not see being on Big Brother as a way to further a acting/modelling career then PLEASE APPLY.

Really is light with the “news” this week.. Looks like the BB13 Players Sans Rachel are slowly getting back into their regular lives. We’re on the final stretch until Big Brother 13 , Other than Penis pics galore and Rachel being on Bride’s of Beverly Hills this coming Thursday there isn’t much coming out of BB alumni camp. Only 45 days remaining until Big Brother 2011. There has been no word on how the casting process has gone yet, probably the most exciting news has been Kristen Bitting in May issue of Kasanova magazine.

Remember Adam Jasinki the winner of BB9? He was the guy while on the feeds called autistic children retards. Later in 2010 he got caught smuggling oxycodone in a sock and running a drug ring that serviced the east coast’s pharmaceutical needs. His partner in crime Matty Mick has been xentenced for his roll in the drug ring and is to be in court next month on assault charges and witness intimidation. This is from beating his pregnant girlfriend!! There is now a total of Three past Big Brother Houseguests behind bars, Amber for driving while on drugs with her kid, Adam for the drug smuggling and Matt for beating pregnant girls/drug smuggling.

Big Brother 13 casting calls are now officially over. If you haven’t sent in your Video/Application or went to a Open casting call yoru shit out of luck to be on Big Brother this season. If you did apply finalists will be chosen within a month.

This year Dawg and myself are part of a Beta program for the new Big Brother live feeds. We get to test out the new system and help the devolpment team at Real player tweak their software to best serve the hungry masses of BB13 fans. It’s very exciting what they have in store for us and i’m sure it’ll be a huge success. We are not permitted to disclose anything substantial yet but what what we can say is it’ll change the functionality of the feeds drastically. Big Brother 13 is going to be awesome, it has to be the BB13 Gods know we’re due for a season more explosive than BB11, more raunchy than BB9, more strategic than BB10 and with a million more grenades then BB12. Big Brother 2011 is still a ways away but with the recent casting call flurry and the starting of crazy rumors (ie Russel from survivor) its safe to say that this season is officially starting up. The biggest thing in BB13 news this week was obviously the open Casting Calls times and locations being released, Heres the link to the casting calendar of the times/locations/map done up in Google calendar for your convenience. Except for the casting calls it’s not really a ground breaking week for BB13 news. All I know Charlie Sheen won’t be getting anywhere near Julie Chen thanks to her round the clock security commandos ;)

Big Brother 13 is still a ways away but the news is starting to trickle in from all over the Internets. Its slow but is building every week as we get closer to the premiere date. The casting team is now underway trying to pick 14 (or so) houseguests that’ll piss us all off this coming season of Big Brother 2011.
