I am soooooo glad Dan won !!! We have been without power since Sunday and I missed the show. Someone please tell me what April’s reaction was to Keesha winning. I am not surprised that Jerry was second since CBS did a terrible job of showing who he rwally was. They never showed the nosepicking or the filthy mouth of his talking about others.
After all the screaming and tears and fighting and hurt feelings – the jurors voted with their brains and did the right thing – I’m impressed with all of them. And I second a great big thank you to Simon and Dawg for this wonderful site – it was obviously a labor of love for you guys and we really appreciate it, Have a great fall and winter!!!!

Although those of you who voted for her just to see April’s reaction is just ridiculous. I haven’t seen it yet so I don’t know what her reaction was but I hope it was nothing bad so everyone can feel stupid. I doubt it though, she probably did say something or give a look, but I’ll see that in about less than 2 hours. And Jerry was runner up? Ha shows all the Jerry haters huh.
I feel they all deserve the money in some sort of way and for some reason. They all are good people in their own ways.

And Memphis knew it as soon as April’s key was pulled (well that he lost at least) that was the one vote I thought would not be going Dan’s way and when it did, well, from the jury discussion I figured Dan had Ollie’s vote. I wonder what kindness was Jerry talking about? They both were generally always nice to him. I also figured from jury discussion that Jerry was voting for Dan. And good business sense? What was Renny talking about? I can’t wait to see the backyard interviews and you know that Ollie, April and Michelle’s will be the most interesting. I do hope Keesha can get past her anger at Memphis.

This episode made me happy. i might have had some small issue with how Dan played at some points but otherwise he played a fantastic game and was one of the 3 (in my opinion) genuinely likeable winners in BB history. And obviously i was happy with Keesha winning the 25 grand (though Renny should have been second). other high points:
-Brian was awesome
-i was also happy that memphis did end up with 50 thousand.
-Renny talking about Jerry
-April being the first person to suck up to Keesha
-Keesha reading her name in shock on the result card (i think it was her)
overall a great way to end a great season

Also, I am glad that Brian gave the most ridiculous people on the jury a sort of forewarning of the things they will be drilled about in the coming days. Ollie will be portrayed the best as he started laughing at his own ridiculous actions in the house, I never saw April’s reaction, but Michelle was in her usual denial mode, and Jerry is just going to pipe out with the same answers to everything. I am surprised with the post Michelle HOH yelling they didn’t get to Michelle and Jerry telling Dan he was going to burn in hell. Did anyone else see Keesha just mouth Dan before Julie started pulling out the keys?

I knew Dan would win, but never once thought it would be unanimous! Does anyone know what Jerry was talking about…how he was voting for the person who showed “kindness”? The only thing I could think of was how Dan kept forgiving Jerry for all of his inappropriate behaviors and commments. Would love to know what specifically he was referring to, because I never ever EVER thought Dan would get Jerry’s vote. Finally, the old man showing some semblence of class. Way to go Dan…you played one hell of a game and, in my opinion, have dethroned Will Kirby as the best player in BB history. How cool to see these two face off in All Stars…never happen I know, but a girl can dream, right?

Dan only one because Jerry was an idiot. When he had HOH, he should have nominated Memphis and Dan. Memphis wins POV and is replaced with Keesha. Renny votes Dan. Memphis votes Keesha. Jerry breaks the tie by voting for Dan.
Dan didn’t play the game well. The others played the game poorly. This is my first season watching and I tuned in halfway through it. This will be my last season of watching this garbage.
I didn’t think April would vote for Dan, because if you remember when she got evicted she said if Ollie was not in the final, she would want Memphis to win because something about him not being fake or something. But maybe the jury questions made her think, I haven’t seen it yet, one more hour over here.

April smiled? Ha thats funny, I wonder, is that the reaction that the people who were just voting for Keesha, wanted? I have NO problem with Keesha, glad she got it. But my problem is people voting for her, not because they think she deserved it but that they wanted to see reactions.
I totally disagree with all of the comments. Chill town were the best players ever. Dan did not deserve to win. I wanted Memphis to win. Memphis made it to the end w/o lying and doing evil deeds like Dan. Playing a good game does not mean you backstab, lie and cheat. I can not understand for the life of me why Michelle, April and Ollie voted for Dan to win the money. Even though Memphis didn’t keep Kesha in the game, he was honest w/her. He told her he was going to vote her out. Dan was dishonest w/her and had her thinking he wanted her to stay in the game. Memphis did not win an HOH and that’s a good thing. Being HOH is the worst position to be in. YOu have power one week, the next week you have powerful enemies. Dan lied to almost every body. ANd they rewarded him w/$500K – How Crazy is that????

E- you know you will be watching next season…your hooked why else would you be here now, and even reading this message??? don’t be a sore loser because your favorite lost. if ollie and michelle can realize it was a game and give half a million dollars to the person responsible for their loss then everyone else should be able to follow suit. dan played the best game in bb history. hands down. he came back from the very first week after his alliance was kicked out by everyone ganging up on him. that in itself was difficult.
L.Flem= name one person in this game that did not lie to at least 1 other person? you can’t. this is a game and dan won because he was the best this season and possibly the best in bb history.
How did Memphis make it to the end without lying? He’s lied in this game, please. What was he doing the last few weeks? He may not have lied as much, but he still lied. And in this game, thats how you win, by lying and cheating. I haven’t seen many of the winners, not lie or backstab someone. The guys have one 8 out of 10? Wasn’t is 7 out of 10? Didn’t three girls win? Not a big difference but still, some of the people make it seem like a girl can’t win. I feel that is has to do with girls competiting against others, like some girls feel another girl needs to leave because they are jealous or dont want other girls in the house. Also, sometimes the guys tend to choose another guy over the girl, I don’t know thats just my opinion.

L.Flem- what do you mean memphis did not lie or do evil deeds??? he promised keesha that he would not evict her at least a dozen times! he only admitted it to her after she figured it out and forced him to tell her. he even ran from her and hid in the diary room so he didn’t have to answer her. (why don’t you read up on it in the past spoilers and talk about it when you have ALL the FACTS)if he was smart he would have taken keesha to the end because she is the only person he would have won against. april and michelle absolutely hate her- jerry talks down on women and did not want a woman to win- and ollie would have picked memphis over keesha because he liked memphis more. he only picked dan over memphis because dan played the best game. so memphis lost the half million by getting rid of keesha and he will realize that eventually.

Dan did absolutely nothing remarkable this season. Everyone comparing him to people like Will and Dick, you are just silly. he was a swing vote (when he was americas player), he made a stupid speach at a replacement nomination ceremony, and he didnt win shit until the only people left in the house were weak females and ollie, a guy who was first out in almost every competition. thats it.
They should have split the money between Dan and Memphis, neither one played a great game, combined they had some close semblance to a great player, but not individually.

okay i totally disagree with “L.Flem” first of all, dan was very clever with his game. Oh yeah and Memphis never told keesha the truth, i watched big brother after dark and keesha found out for herself and finally memphis admitted to it, so he wasnt as honest as you think. Dan always made me laugh and it was amazing too watch him talk and play his game, he always knew what to say and hes also very attractive =p I was actually really suprised on how Dan answered the jury quesitons, i respect him for being honest unlike memphis and his speech which was all bull. Im sooo happy Dan won, he deserved it all the way, and in big brother you have to lie cheat etc, its how you play..and dont act like memphis was all innocent, he wasnt he didnt keep his word with keesha. I loved keesha and i wanted her to win, i HATEEEE april who thinks shes the shit when shes super ugly =] i loved seeing keesha win that money and seeing aprils reaction, it really shows how fake she is, when she gave keesha that smile and hug…HA whatever. Im super stoked for next season. =]]

Since you didn’t watch the entire show it seems rather presumptuous of you to provide any kind of fair and balanced critique. Also, a first season watcher may not fully understand the game yet. I don’t mind that you didn’t like it but to give critique to the players seems a bit self important. It should be apparant by the number of REAL fans here that we are all applauding a Dan win.

I am also happy for Keesha but was surprised Jerry was a close second. I thought for sure Renny would have taken that honor. At least Jerry had some TV time that showed his real side.
I am very surprised yet pleased that the jury didn’t make their vote personal. EACH of them spoke respectfully to Dan and Memphis – nice way to end things as a class act.

Brian kicked ass with his air time, I think BB wanted OJ, Skank-ril and Manchelle to get trashed before they went off the air this season and he did a great job and was dead-on with his comment. Great job Dan and it was a beautiful think seeing Kesha get basically 3rd place. Go Keesha!

I was on Dan/Brian’s side on Week 1 and when Brian got ganged up on by the rest of the house, I thought Dan might not even make it to the jury house. Congratulations Dan, Memphis and Keesha, I felt that Dan would win but I wish that Memphis would have gotten a couple of votes. Anyway I hope that Dan and Memphis continue to have a friendship and carry ahead with their plans on a business venture. I think Dan would be good for Memphis to get him on the right track for hopefully a prosperous future for them both
I watched many After Dark episodes, and Keesha always made me laugh. Really laugh hard. She’s just a sweet, cool girl with a great sense of humor, and I think people can relate to her. So it warmed my heart to see her win the jury prize! I can honestly say that I have watched every season of Big Brother since show 1 (I know — pathetic!) and Keesha is my all-time favorite for some reason. I love when she would whine “Daaaaaannnn.”
Funny how someone compare people in this TV show to Enron CEOs and such. Give me a break. If I played Big Brother, I would totally lie, back stab and back door if I had to to get ahead. But in real life, I return a dollar if someone overpays me and I hold doors open for strangers. It’s just a game!

For all the people saying how ugly April is, and are fans of Keesha, your doing the exact same thing Brian said April and Michelle did to Keesha, talking about her apperance. So saying all this stuff about how they we’re jealous for tlaking about Keesha’s apperance, your talking about Aprils!
I just had to say that, I mean I’m not a fan of April, nor do I hate Keesha, but come on now.
I agree with Dragonfly, I wasn’t sure Dan would make it this far without Brian. Think about it, those of you who thought Dan’s game play sucked. He was in an alliance with one person, Brian, and Brian got evicted week 1. Dan has nobody after that, but yet he won. He did great, played smart.
Props to Dan. His gameplay was undoubtedly the best. He was always a step ahead of everyone and showed it in every DR. He might be arrogant at times but he backed it up every single time. Plus to make over half the jury hate your guts at one point then clean sweep the votes, wow. Great season. Great winner. I wish Brian could have stayed around longer and that’s who would have been sitting next to him instead of Memphis.
Dan played a really really good game. If people think he did anything uncalculated you are mistaken. He knew that the whole “Veto roulette” would make people think that they could get 3 votes against dan any day (april, ollie,michelle) and just needed 1 more vote to win so there was no real reason to cut dan (other than for jerry who must now feel like an ass seeing as his judas comment came because dan had americas bidding to do that week and didn’t know what he was gonna vote until he entered the room).
He knew exactly that the physically strong players or too dominant (in their behaviour) players leave first so appearing weak at the beginning is a good strategy. He did have the huge advantage of having more than a couple weeks to prepare for BB though unlike the others.
And as to him being fired: why? so he lied some and gave his word and broke it. He still played the game with the most dignity in the game – he didn’t badmouth anyone in the house to the extend most of the others did. Only renny and keesha did play similarily clean games. Even memphis was quite rude towards jerry and april quite a few times but much better than most others.
I’ve been rooting for Dan ever since week 2 so I’m thrilled to see him win the game.

im soooo happy that dan won! its nice to see a good guy win this game…last year evel dick was so mean to everyone and verbally assaulted and swore at everyone…dan on the other hand did not succumb to mindless cursing at fellow houseguests…even when some houseguests were really rude to him (jerry caling him judas, etc.)…dan showed class, and forgave jerry and was nice to all of the houseguests…he did have to get his hands dirty and do some shifty things (but what do u expect from big brother? if you want to win, you have to do it)…but at least he never verbally attacked any other houseguests…kudos to you dan! he was very entertaining to watch and played a phenomenal game…move over Dr. Will!!
i agree with most of the people on here, dan deserved to win and played an amazing game…it was amazing watching him regroup after week 1 and brian getting evicted, i remember brian told julie after he got evicted that he expects memphis to go very far, and he did not think dan would last too long because he was too nice of a guy…well the nice guy woooonnnn!! :) its great to see…dan was a really great speaker and he used great strategy in the game…he did a nice job of knowing each houseguest on a personal level…everyone had a relationship with him, i dont know if anyone else noticed but when everyone was coming up to vote and said there final words to dan and memphis, dan had pet names for everyone…keeha-beesha, portuguese princess from providence, colonel, mom away from mom, etc…it definitely helps your end-game and just your game in general to try and form sincere relationships with people, ask them how they are doing, being nice to them, saying good night and good morning, etc…the little things do count (as renny mentioned on the finale) and dan did a great job of exhibiting the little things to the fellow houseguests

im soooo happy that dan won! its nice to see a good guy win this game?last year evel dick was so mean to everyone and verbally assaulted and swore at everyone?dan on the other hand did not succumb to mindless cursing at fellow houseguests?even when some houseguests were really rude to him (jerry caling him judas, etc.)?dan showed class, and forgave jerry and was nice to all of the houseguests?he did have to get his hands dirty and do some shifty things (but what do u expect from big brother? if you want to win, you have to do it)?but at least he never verbally attacked any other houseguests?kudos to you dan! he was very entertaining to watch and played a phenomenal game?move over Dr. Will!!
i agree with most of the people on here, dan deserved to win and played an amazing game…it was amazing watching him regroup after week 1 and brian getting evicted, i remember brian told julie after he got evicted that he expects memphis to go very far, and he did not think dan would last too long because he was too nice of a guy…well the nice guy woooonnnn!! :) its great to see…dan was a really great speaker and he used great strategy in the game…he did a nice job of knowing each houseguest on a personal level…everyone had a relationship with him, i dont know if anyone else noticed but when everyone was coming up to vote and said there final words to dan and memphis, dan had pet names for everyone…keeha-beesha, portuguese princess from providence, colonel, mom away from mom, etc…it definitely helps your end-game and just your game in general to try and form sincere relationships with people, ask them how they are doing, being nice to them, saying good night and good morning, etc…the little things do count (as renny mentioned on the finale) and dan did a great job of exhibiting the little things to the fellow houseguests

I can’t believe there’s still arguments about how Dan played the game and didn’t deserve to win. The object of the game is to win $500,000
so i guess by that estimation Dan played the game pretty well if he swept the nominations.
The worst thing he did was lie to a group of people he just met two months ago. Dan was so relaxed at the jury questioning and turned on the charm big time working the jurors even as they were putting their keys in. Dan worked everyone til the end even Memphis.

You were friendly with everyone, you got to know everyone on a personal level, if you notice when each jury member came up to place a vote he had a nickname for each and everyone of them. (besides the dan-hater ones) and am glad knowing there are so many others who feel exactly how i do! this was only my 3rd season of big brother, but i think this one was the best, by far, of what i’ve seen and i absolutley LOVE dan!! he was my fav. since him and brian first made their alliance. i love keesha-beesha too and am overjoyed that she took that prize. i did vote for her. she absolutley deserved it! memphis is cool too, but wish he would have come in third. i’m so sad that it’s all over now. what are these “backyard interviews” a couple people have mentioned on here????!!!!! i would love to see interviews with the cast!!! i was already going through bb afterdark withdrawls last night.. lol.. sad..

Without America’s Player, Dan, having to vote for Memphis, Memphis would of been gone, and he pulled all those triggers because Dan actually won stuff so he couldn’t. If Memphis would of won Head of Household, Dan would of done it all.
At a time when Sarah Palin is gaining (hopefully will start losing soon) unexpected and undeserved popularity, the fact that Dan won, and with all the votes, redeems my faith in human nature. And that Keesha won for favorite jury member (deservedly) is great. It couldn’t have been a better finale, I was so pleased that everybody saw pretenseous, obnoxious, phony Memphis (ugh, that dumbass name..) for the self centered egotist that he is. NO VOTES!!! Miss Julie Chen, on the late late show, told Craig Ferguson that she thought Dan had been playing the game well. While she said she had no favorites, she did not give Memphis the same compliment. So as the host for many seasons, I’m gonna assume she knew what she was talking about. So go Danny boy!

Just wanted to say thanks to the guys that ran this site. I absolutely loved and looked forward to every new post!! I’m thrilled Dan won! I would have liked either Keesha or even Jerry to have won 2nd as opposed to Memphis (I just wasn’t a huge Memphis fan!) But none the less am very happy with the results. It was a great season.
I noticed a few of you were wondering what the act of kindness was that Jerry was referring to when he cast his vote for Dan. I just watched Gretchen Massey’s interview with Jerry on You-Tube, and he said that it was the fact that Dan was the only one that came to his room every single night for 50 nights to wish him Good-night, and that this meant a lot to him, and helped him get through the time there.

I, too, am thrilled that Dan won. I have watched every season of BB, and I think Dan is the best player yet. I will be really surprised if he and Memphis stay friends much longer. But I agree with Memphis that Dan needed him in order to win. I really enjoyed Keesha, too, and am very pleased that she won AC. Thank you so much Brian and Steven for calling out Ollie, April, Michelle, and Jerry. I wish they’d gotten to talk more.
NO IDEA how that ANNOYING, SQUEEKY-VOICED Keesha got the vote! Her voice alone is enough to drive you absolutely crazy, much less her bad attitude and how cruel and mean she was about and towards Jerry. So undeserving, it’s such a shame people rewarded her bad behavior. Memphis was a truly nice guy, as was Dan (most of the time), and I don’t know how Memphis did not receive even one vote! This was such a horrible, unfair ending … very disappointing. That’s just my opinion … you may beg to differ!

Great comments to read on a great BB season. I’ll add my kudos to Brian. He may have been a lousy BB player himself, but he was very observant when it came to behavior in the house after he left. The personal and nasty nature of the attacks that Jerry spewed against Dan & Memphis (amongst others as well) was just thoroughly DISGUSTING! It was sad that he was given every opportunity to recant his personal rants, but chose to not fully do that. Instead he tried to justify what he did. Amazingly, Dan took the high road morally during and after the game and treated Jerry with kindness that he frankly did not deserve. It’s amazing after all these years that people feel so compelled to label people in the BB house as “good” or “evil” strictly based on their actions in a game. I can only hope that Jerry is not that judgmental in real life outside of the house but his actions would certainly make you wonder. Thanks for all the comments everyone and for adding your part to the season. No question the best player (and most entertaining player) won this year. I’m shocked Renny didn’t win AC for the 25 grand, but the truth is she wasn’t as good a gameplayer as Keesha– just as Keesha wasn’t as good as Dan and Memphis so we pretty much got it all right in this particular game. Lots of fun!! I’ll watch next time too. Long live BB!!!

Well I’m late posting on the outcome just saw the episode due to a major power outage. Anyway, Dan played a great game. The jury seem to vote as if it was a game. I liked Libra’s attitude. Renny cracked me up. Glad Keesha won some money she gives off good vibes overall. Brian was hillarious. Wonder if April and Ollie broke up yet. I get a friend vibe from them not boyfriend/girlfriend. Great great Dan played because all that could have backfired but he played with his mind. Good social engineering on his part.
