5:30pm Big Brother Time: Keesha and Jerry are in the backyard.. Jerry is teaching her how to do his exercises. Dan is on the couch. Jerry said to Keesha, you just had a good workout. Keesha said she is very excited about doing them. Jerry encourages her to do them at home. Jerry telling Keesha about some excerises he will have for his wife. He says he misses her. She has been his buddy for a long time! Jerry had thanked Keesha for hanging around him. Jerry is still telling Keesha about his wife who he loves very much. He hopes she comes to Ca after. So the house guest’s can meet her. He says she is very tolerant with him. He wants to find exercises for her to keep her blood circulating. Jerry said he is going to build up his excerise reps up to 100 before he goes home. He tells Keesha he is very strong. Jerry and Keesha continue chit chat about Jerry and his wifes relationship. The exercises and the weather.

Jerry states “I am pretty strong for my age”. Talking now about the boredom in the house. Long days…slow days. Both think it is an incredible experience though. Jerry says it is a hell of an experience Keesha. Wondering how the crowd will respond to them. What do they know about you. Jerry, it seems like every time they open the door, there is clapping. 5:55pm Big Brother Time: Jerry talking about him & Joanne going to shelter to adopt a dog….He said he told Joanne you have to see this. Talking about a little poodle in the run. The dog was shaking and Jerry said, he ain’t going back in the kennel, he is going home with us! He was so scared, and Jerry thought the Poodle had gotten into a fight. When he runs, he lifts his leg like this. The back leg is a bad one. Cute little guy. He uses his paw for anything. Anything he wants he uses his paw.

Jerry & Dan talking in backyard Dan asks Jerry if he thought he would get this far. Jerry said it would have been easier if he hadn’t been Head of Household right off the bat. Dan and Jerry talking about Brian. Dan said he tried to get Brian to calm down. Said he enjoyed Brian, however. Jerry says he and his wife spend $12,000 a year for health insurance coverage, medicine, etc. Jerry says in the 1950s, he was paying $3 a doctor’s visit but of course, he was making $45 a year. Dan asking what does Jerry think made health care costs go out of control? Jerry blames a lot of high health care costs on unions. Jerry says he would never buy foreign car. His son-in-law buys foreign cars. Jerry thinks that now Ford cars do equal Toyotas in quality. Says he’s always had good Ford cars. His convertible is 20 years old.

7pm Big Brother Time: Dan was asking him if either of the 2 candidates appeal to him. Jerry says one is too naive and other one is too militaristic. Jerry says he’s a Republican but very disillusioned with Bush. Jerry doesn’t cotton to Obama either. Jerry says he wants someone like Gates as their leader. Wants to see a change. Thought the doctor who was speaker of the house would have been good. Dan asks about Romney. Jerry thought Romney would have been all right - he had business sense. Jerry says McCain has some good qualities doesn’t think he’s too old - Jerry is 4 years older than him. Jerry worries about Obama’s wife. Says Obama’s wife is too radical. Jerry & Dan talking about ExxonMobil profit. Said it was highest record. Jerry says why can’t they take some of that money and give it to social programs. Says a lot of people don’t have health insurance. Jerry had bypass surgery that cost $70,000. Dan asks how much was covered. Jerry says all of it. “I bet I’m the only one with bypass surgery on big brother” Dan hopes he still has a job when he gets out.
