Big Brother 10 - Casting Call in Philadelphia
Lounging around on TV for a chance to win $500,000 - sounds like a nice summer job if you can get it.
One way to apply is to be at Independence Mall on Friday afternoon, ready be interviewed by Tedd Schermerhorn, senior casting producer for CBS reality show Big Brother, according to CBS3 program director Perry Casciato.
You must be at least 21, a U.S. citizen living in the United States, with “sufficient physical, psychological, and mental capacity to endure approximately 100 days in a monitored house under extraordinary conditions,” the show’s guidelines state.
In other words, the camera-shy need not apply.
Your summer plans also need to be flexible, since this casting call is for Big Brother 10, which will begin in June or July.
The casting tour is going to 25 cities to ultimately tap just 16 contestants.
The Philadelphia stop is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Independence Visitor Center, Sixth and Market Streets.
Applicants must bring at least one valid picture ID, a good photograph of yourself, and a completed application (available at Casting info
Applicants can also drop off their own audition tapes, which must be VHS format and no longer than two minutes. The tape should tell who you are and why you’d be a great contestant. “Be creative!” the guidelines advise.
